I went in the store for a haircut, royal shave and facial. The customer service was great. Greeting you when you first walk in. Took me back and started my haircut followed by the shave and facial. I never looked at my haircut until after everything was done because they just jumped right on to the next service. When I finally got to look at my hair it was horrible. I stayed calm paid my bill before I started to yell and probably get escorted out of the hotel. I go back to my hotel look in the mirror and try and see if anyway I could fix it and the answer was no. Upon looking in the mirror I see the shave was done poorly as well. I have long hairs on my neck and patches on my face. I had to shave my head and re-shave myself. This was all done on Christmas Eve right before going home and seeing all my relatives. I would expect better service from the art of shaving especially being in the Mandalay Bay hotel. I have reached out to art of shaving they told me each store is privately owned and they would forward my complaint to they. I really hope to hear from the store owner to make this right.
Now I can only speak for the customer service I received as a walk in browser in the stop front. Did not use the full barber service Now I have to say the sales associate David who spent his time with my friend & I giving us a tour as well a complete run down of the benefits of each product when we were clearly not interested in purchasing anything which I really took notice to because , he didn't ditch us when opportunities presented themselves which they did. Now David really made a impression & made my experiences a great one by taking notice too visible issues both my friend & I in the way we care for ourselves with shaving. Explained & why we shouldn't use certain grooming practices which were causing issues I would call it... And then individually showed us both really good products that not also helped solve our issues but really Enhanced our overall look & grooming experience!! Well I didn't purchase in store put I will a steady on line customer from now on due to the Excellence of the Overall Experience that was provided by Sale Associate David!! Who is a real asset to the company & the property of Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino of Las Vegas!
Absolutely the best! Get the Royal Shave and haircut. I had Jack Burton which is totally first class all the way. It was obvious everyone there was very experienced. During my time in the chair and, seeing other happy customers I knew I made the right choice coming in. If your lucky enough to get Jack make sure to tell him to say hi to his other rockstar friends from the 80's
Used to love this place. I went today & on top of a new $7 parking fee, the haircut had gone up in price as well. I have a buzzed head & a bushy beard. All I wanted was a beard trim. They said they could only use a buzzer or razor on it & it would be $35. I said I didn't want it buzzed down just trimmed & they said they only use razors and buzzers. So then I asked how much to buzz my head down which was already very short ...she said $55. $55 to buzz my head?!? I asked her why so much for something I can do at home & her reply was "we are a spa." Really? Because your name is THE ART OF SHAVNG not X spa & you can even trim my beard properly. I walked out. Unreasonable, unfriendly, overpriced and a complete scam. Oh ya, and bye bye $7
My fiancé went there and we are getting married on Saturday. They did not listen and cut it waaaayyyyy to short. Then they had the audacity to say that he should have said something during the service if he was dissatisfied and the barber would have stopped. When he is faced away from the mirror, how is he supposed to know where it is at and how it is looking? I am a cosmetologist and I know that length is something you go over and over with the customer. You always start off longer and then you can take off more if need be. Very poor customer service. $75 for my fiancé to feel so self conscious on our wedding day.mind you this is just a beard trim not haircut Don’t waste your money.
Best haircut I've ever received. Randy was my barber and he was kind, professional, and did an outstanding job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Totally worth the $$
Had a clean shave that was not cut smooth all over and had my hair cut from a 2all over to a 0 all over and missed parts as well $135 plus tips worst and most exspensive I've ever had. Was nice place and well set up though
I got a shave from Angel and he did an awsome job, he found a way for me to keep my 4 inch long goatee and give the Hunger games look. I can't wait to go back, and you should make an appointment and have an amazing shave. Thank you agen Angel.
I very much enjoyed my visit last month when I was in town to be married. I was seen by Tammy Cole who was friendly, professional and did a fantastic job. If I were local, I would definitely visit again.
Walked in there for a shave. The lady at the front snarled at me telling me I wouldn't be able to get my shave today and turned her back in disgust. The customer is ridiculous here, she was a rude b**** for no reason. AND they are over priced, be smart and stay away.
