The management is very friendly and wants to work with residents, the property is well maintained. There were some concerns with crime, they put up cameras and flood lights and it's gotten better. They are at the very least active and concerned. Great neighbors, nice community feel, very dog friendly. Good parking for most units. Good value for the square footage for sure. I will recommend, and may consider renewing my lease here.
Ever since the Astoria has been purchased by a new management company they have done an awful job working with residents. They make it extremely difficult to do basic things, like pay rent. Communication has been extremely minimal - you would think that management companies would know how to email these days. Not happy, unfortunately we have to stay until our lease is up.
The apartment is beautiful. The management is amazing they even helped me unload my car. Super sweet and helpful. I'm excited to call this my home
Have lived here for 3 years. Very inexpensive. Very small apartments, mold issues, and slow maintenince, but overall good enough for the price. Of the 3 years here, we've had 4 different managers and as many different maintenince workers. Some things get forgotten in the exchange.
The astoria is very unsafe and poorly managed. Someone broke into the laundry room and stole things out of our storage unit and the astoria did not change any locks after the fact and told us it had happened before. The utilities are also triple what they should be and they’ll take your entire deposit even if you only lived there half a year. This place is a scam.
It seems that it's a new property management recently, and they have been pretty good. I feel like the old reviews here shouldn't count anymore.
Horrible the maintenance man smokes weed and he is very rude
