Great store. Great staff. Great variety of the best most natural brands of dog and cat food and treats, as well as toys and clothes.
Such an amazing staff! You can tell the owner loves animals and cares so much for his clients. They have a variety of things such as treats, toys and even beds! Brought my dog tango there and he goes free treats, water and even a good run in by chasing the cat who lives in the store. They host events such as “pool parties” in the summer only which is just a bunch of dogs in a giant tub in front of the store. Loved the energy here so much we will definitely be back.
The customer service and selection at this store are so great. I love that the owner really curates the selection to sell only foods/treats that are healthy and natural, and the staff is very knowledgeable as well. They helped us find food that works for our Frenchies who have a lot of allergies. They also spent at least 10 minutes one day helping to perfectly fit the harnesses on our dogs when we bought a couple from them harnesses which have held up so well! We had others that broke because our dogs like to pull. I feel like everything I’ve purchased from here - toys, leashes marine dog leashes!, sweaters - have been very high quality and reasonably priced for the quality not cheap but good for quality. All the food and treats are high quality and healthy as well. They also allow you to keep an account with the store really convenient if you’re walking by and want to pop in quickly for something, and will deliver within a certain radius of the store, which is incredibly helpful! Everyone who works here is so kind and knowledgeable as well.
TERRIBLE STORE!!! Don’t bother going there!!! I was in there for about 1/2hr choosing collars for my dogs and NOT ONE staff member asked me if I needed help I ended up leaving without buying anything as I was so insulted that they ignored me. The customer service is better at PetSmart!! Whoever owns this store needs to seriously review their staff!!! The 3 staff members stood at the counter talking to each other and texting in their phones!!....SERIOUSLY?? Then one of the girls stated to vacuum while there were still customers in the store....VERY RUDE TERRIBLE selection of products mostly from China!! I was looking for American made Quality goods NOT RUBBISH!!
Almost everything I bought from this store broke on the first day. My overall experience with this store was very disappointing. I work nearby and would always pass by this shop on my way to lunch, it's a beautiful little dog boutique bursting with fun, eye catching things to spoil any dog. I have a Siberian Husky at home and always wanted to go in and get him something. When Christmas came around I decided to do my shopping for him here and finally went inside. The shop is extremely cramped on the inside with zero room to move around. It can accommodate about 1 customer at a time. I had to continuously flatten myself against a rack of dog leashes to allow the staff to wizz back and forth past me to stock shelves. Though they were polite and helpful, so no complaints there. Everything was extremely overpriced considering nothing was really that special. Whatever, I bought my dog a christmas jingle bell collar, a "tuff balls" industrial strength ball, a squeaky bone, and some dog cookies. Christmas rolls around and my dog runs down the stairs with his jingle bell collar ringing. Within 15 minutes of him wearing it, 3 of the large bells had falled off. Totally crappy. I give him his presents. He loved the cookies, which were very nutritious, but the squeaky bone? He chewed on it for 5 minutes before it completely stopped squeaking. After about 30 mins of rigorous play with the "tuff ball" it is starting to split down the middle. I am really really mad. I will definitely never step foot in this store again. For the high prices they charge and their entire "High end, quality NYC dog boutique" demeanor, I shouldn't be dealing with this cheaply made garbage. I'm better off shopping at Petsmart. The stuffed reindeer I got from there is the only thing that survived this Christmas.
This is the dog store I visit whenever I am in the city. My dog loved biscuits I bought from here - as there are plenty of choices from biscuits to jerkies. The staff are consistently helpful and friendly too.
Our go-to spot in the neighborhood for dog food, supplies, and treats. The owner and the team are incredibly friendly. We love having them nearby!!!
This place suddenly appeared on my Facebook page disguised as though it came from a friend. It went on and on and on until I realized it was all advertising. Shame on you, Barking Zoo. This is the kind of tactic that turns me off about Facebook and surely did nothing to bring me to your store as a new customer.
A great store with the highest quality food and treats, and a staff that couldn't be friendlier or more helpful
Really nice staff and great selection!
