The Brown Theatre on Broadway

I love that old theatre! Doorman and all. A ground floor and a balcony section. Bathrooms have been modernized but the rest is refurbished 1940's. Great accustics. Best parking is probably across the street.

Amazing experience to watch the Louiville law school graduation in an elegant and fashionable atmosphere. Restrooms close by the theater room and decent entry space to socialize. Convenient downtown location with parking lot across the street.

Beautiful venue. Great draw for talented acts. Security policy is VERY hit and miss. Attended two performances in the past four months and wondering why it has gone from a welcoming environment to being wanded and questioned about everything in my pockets. I was attending a music concert for G33KS, but it felt more like I was walking into a courthouse.

Beautiful historic theatre, that has an intimate, warm, and cozy feel. Saw NEEDTOBREATHE perform an acoustic show and it was the best concert I have ever been to. So personal with a great view and the sound quality was like no other! Can't wait to visit the Brown again!

I called down for towels; the guy who bought them up to us appeared "bothered" when asked to also bring face cloths up with the towels. Also, one of the valet guys made me get my own car. He said that "it would be easier." My experience with valet, is for so I may have front door service. On a lighter note, the bed was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay, minus the few hiccups.
