University of Kentucky Art Museum

A nice display of many types of art. Worth the effort to find parking and get there.

Along with the Speed, this is the only other proper arts museum in KY. Great curated exhibits here, too.

Not a bad little art museum. A good way to kill time while waiting for your UK student to finish class.

A lot of good plaus and music for all styles. Cheaper, confortable location and high level of performances. A place to consider always to visit.

Wonderful rotating exhibit areas change often, however; the permanent collection has faded over time and shows signs of serious deterioration/lack of proper care, which is quite disappointing. The entirety of the first floor smells...and smells very bad. I am not sure what the smell is exactly, but it smells....like....I don't know. It smells like urine. I don't know what else to say there, it is pretty rough. Small and lacking care. Pretty much a disappointment on my visit to KY.
