The Burger Dive

Don't be fooled by the name, this is not a dive by any stretch of a negative connotation! What is so special about a burger? How could a burger win a championship competition? These thoughts ran through my mind as a good friend, brother in the LORD told us he was going to treat us to lunch there. We were pleasantly surprised! Don't we all get that craving from time to time of desiring a REALLY GOOD burger? Well, to say that our cravings were more than satisfied does not do this Burger Dive just credit! We all could not make up our minds which burger to choose...so...we decided to start at the top of the menu for our first visit and then work our way down respectively upon every next visit! What's at the top: The Huckleberry, sure to be loved by Doc Val Kilmer himself, dripping with the best Huckleberry jam ever! Park your mechanical horses nearby get there before rush hour and reach out for a handful of goodness that will put a smile on your face long after your burger is gone.

We were in town to take our daughter to the airport. My husband found this restaurant and let me tell you….if you’re ever in Billings, MT this is the place to visit. I ordered “The Date with Jim Bean and Coke” Burger, hubby had “The Spicy Tuna” burger and our daughter had a cheeseburger and chili fries and everything was sooo DELICIOUS!! We will definitely stop by there when we go back to pick her up from the airport.

Montana known for their beef we had to try the Burger Dive. Very fun and tasteful restaurant. Super nice staff. Explained their menu and burger of the day. Enjoyed the onion rings for our appetizer so we didn’t get any sides with our burger which can order with or without fries. We ordered the Huckleberry Burger, Juicy Lucy, Thunderbolt Burger and a kids grilled cheese burger. Burgers were so good no one spoke until the last bite was finished! Just the right amount of condiments to not over power the best tasting beef I’ve had anywhere. Very filling so give them a try next time your in town!

I really wanted to love this place but it fell short of the recommendations. The fries were a little overdone. I did like the parm and garlic topping but it didn’t make up for them being overcooked. The individual components of the “date with Jim beam and Coke” burger were good but all together they were far too sweet. There needed to be some acidity or spicy heat to break it up. I wouldn’t be opposed to trying another burger should the opportunity arise.

fun "hole-in-the-wall" like joint with an attentive staff and awesome food! went here for the first time after moving into the area. heads up for anyone else new or passing through- parking IS a bit of a pain. it gets cramped and you have to pay for it. that was the only downside and for that reason i highly recommend having change on you and going here when it's less busy. however, the food did make up for it! can't speak for what else is on the menu but I ordered a jamaican jerk burger with cajun fries, limeade on the side and huckleberry shake after. very unique taste and take on diner food, i enjoyed every bit of it!

holy perfection. this is the best burger I've had in a long time. they deserve every award they've won. I tried a few different burgers with friends and we were all very happy.

Very friendly staff and a very clean establishment. These burgers are ridiculously good and unlike a lot of places they're not too big and they're not overdressed. A lot of places put too much stuff on their burgers and the Burger Dive puts just enough without being too much and their combinations of flavors are spectacular. The Im Your Huckleberry burger is off the charts... It is a fantastic combination of flavors and they work so well together.. that Huckleberry BBQ sauce is unbelievably good. Anytime I'm through the area I'm always going to stop by the burger dive, I have to have every burger here. Do yourself a favor and make sure you have a burger here. Also, the garlic parmesan fries Are fantastic too.

Had the huckleberry burger and it was great. Fries were really good too. Good vibes and good staff! Parking was a little challenging, but didn't have to walk too far.

I've ordered from here 4 times now. I keep trying to give it another chance and another and another because the reviews keep saying its good, and I'm thinking to myself the bad cooking is a one time thing... but it's not. Every time the fries are over cooked. The chili was over cooked. The hotdog was undercooked. And the burger had an odd taste that wasn't appetizing at all. So each time I've ordered, it was a horrible experience winding up paying for food that I couldn't eat more than a bite of. I can't review the inside of the place itself though, mine were all for delivery. So I can't say if it's nice inside like the other reviews say, but none of the food has been worth it at all, especially these gross fries because aside from being burnt, they taste like the frier has never been cleaned...and I am not going to give this any more tries. Sorry.
