Cafe on Roosevelt Island. Cool to stop by for snacks or hang out with friends. It’s big seating area inside and outside with beautiful view. There’s big options of fresh hot food, salads, pastries, snacks and coffee.
We stopped by here on our way to see the Franklin Roosevelt Monument. It was in the middle of a heat wave that hit NYC and we were in need of a break. It was a nice spot to use the washrooms and get a treat or quick meal. The staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend stopping in when on the island and looking for a bite to eat when going to explore. 5/5. Follow me for more photos, tips and reviews.
You should stop here to freshen up and recharge during your visit to the island. The prices are reasonable and the menu includes sweets, light snacks and whole meals. You can sit inside the elegantly designed lunch hall but the true beauty is enjoying the magnificent outer shared outdoor space. Even architecture novices would appreciate the combination of modern buildings, city views and greenery.
This place is a fantastic pit stop for anyone visiting Roosevelt Island! Low prices and a great selection of drinks, food items, and most importantly - ice cream! The Cafe is probably the only spot in Manhattan where you can find Cornell's delicious premium ice cream by Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. My favorite flavors are the Cornell Maple Walnut and the Big Red Bear Tracks but I wish they had the Martha's Bits & Bytes flavor too.
Great coffee and brunches place for reasonable prices. Views are amazing. Lots of space to sit inside and outside in summer There are outlets for charging. Pretty convenient to study and work
Very nice cafe ..there are also salads and sandwiches, worth stopping there for a break from a trip to the island. The cafe is located inside the Cornell campus.

Got there too late to eat as the Cafe had closed The manager took pity on us and gave us hot chocolate - it was really appreciated - the guard allowed us to finish our drink before going back out into the coldService: 5/5
We went in to pickup a small snack. This is all part of Cornell Tech so it's more of the school cafeteria. The selections looked interesting but didn't have anything.Food: 3/5
Cozy space and cheap with many variant menu breakfast....
