Been here several times and it’s consistently fabulous . I’d show you the popover but the plate’s long empty . Warm , right out of oven is hard to resist . Decadent butter comes along for the ride . Salad and an appetizer made for a perfect light Italian meal . Knowledgeable bartender who’s always in a good mood with a smile on her face . Very local neighborhood spot that’s filled a calm , soothing ambiance . Plenty of room to spread out and still hear one another . Exceptional outdoor seating area .
We love Morso. The lasagna special on Saturday night is a family favorite. They used to have a braised beef dish that was to die for. Please bring it back! The current pasta dish with a smaller portion of braised beef is not as memorable.Food: 5/5
Have ordered many different dishes and all were prepared we'll. Food service all outstanding. I highly recommend Morso....Tom G.Food: 5/5
My grandparents’ favorite place to get dinner. The food is delicious but the service is even better. Always classy and always accommodating!
Ok to good food; mediocre service. In the end, a mandatory tip for a party of there people was added. Oh and the tax was added before the top was calculated. As a frequent Manhattan diner, I found adding the tip for a small patty unusual, and I don’t tip on the tax. I won’t go back. PS. Morso replied that they add 20% gratuity. I stand by my opinion that this is insulting and NOT CUSTOMARY for a small party of three with a bill around $150. And not all service deserves 20% automatically. It’s my privilege as a customer to decide. I don’t want the restaurant making my tip decisions, especially for only 3 people. So the whole concept of the added tip for small parties is negative in my eyes. Everyone decide for yourselves but beware of the mandatory tip.
Two menus given to 3 people Only bread was their rolls Menu options were good vis a vis fish, meat, etc We went early and it took staff a long time to ask for drink order. Food was acceptable.
This is the absolute loudest restaurant on the east side with music blasting for two blocks. No one can hear anything else. Food is okay, service okay too but WAY TOO LOUD
Avoid this place. Service is awful. With so many excellent restaurants in the city there is no excuse for this. Our waiter was arrogant and obnoxious. And we probably had a $1k tab with our party. Oh and the place is haunted too. Took a picture and there was a ghost in the image. I'm serious. I couldn't believe it. Run away from this place.
Local Italian always great service and menu outstanding. Recommended highly.
I recently held my son's post-Naming Ceremony & Baptism brunch here at their outdoor patio. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The waiters were unobtrusive yet attentive, and very friendly. Jen, the event coordinator, was very helpful and responsive to requests. My guests had an amazing time, including the toddlers who Morso graciously made a plate of regular pasta off the menu for! I highly recommend them even for regular dinner, and I will definitely use them for events again in the future. Thank you everyone at Morso!
