What an amazing place!! The decor is beautiful and it's surrounded by UNC's gorgeous campus. The facilities are fantastic and the staff is super friendly. The bars perfect and the rooms are great too. The valet parking makes it very convenient and easy to get around for a good price. Overall I highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. No complaints whatsoever. Also, they bake free cookies and keep them at the front desk! Be sure to walk around and check out all the portraits and history.

We went for their Sunday brunch. The experience was very nice. The food was great and they had enough variety of foods and desserts. However I did not see labels concerning gluten-free/vegan/etc. I would definitely go again. It was very nice to go with friends.

I actually liked this place even though the rooms are postage stamp size... or at least mine have always been. Lots of memorabilia on all the walls of various celebrated UNC grads. Great place for a party, reception. Renovation well done in the rooms but I have gotten lost at dead end halls.
Great place to stay if you are visiting your favorite student on campus.

This is a delightful hotel. I travel on business quite a lot, and this is one of my favorite places to stay. The hotel dates from 1924 and has a wonderful, historic feel. It is clean and very well kept. The furniture and decor create a very nice atmosphere. It feels like a small hotel, but it actually is large with hallways on the room floors that open up into little sitting areas. One could spend a fair amount of time exploring the property. Throughout the hotel, there are photos on the wall of UNC alumni, some of them famous, and photos of scenes from the college, such as a photo of a classroom full of students in 1914. The staff members are very polite and friendly and provide great service. You will enjoy your stay here. And you are right in the middle of the UNC campus.
