We had a lovely stay at the newly-renovated ECCH while making a college visit with our daughter. The Hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff is professional, courteous, and helpful. We especially appreciated the Coffee Shop in the Lobby which made our morning so much easier! Best of all, the complimentary shuttle service to campus was a godsend, including our wonderful driver Gary, and the Front Desk staff who oversaw our ever-changing transportation schedule. The newly-refurbished common spaces are airy and bright, and the new sofas and tables are awesome as we waited comfortably for a few hours before leaving for the airport. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looks very nice, too. Overall, a great stay and we look forward to returning!
Stayed for first time to move in daughter to Emory. Hotel overall was nice buy not affiliated with any loyalty programs. Room and bathroom was clean and updated. One negative was very low water pressure for showers. This hotel apparently does not clean rooms day to day. Tried to call down to get some toiletries refreshed and got attitude from front desk staff. Has nice restaurant and bar inside hotel. Parking was clean and safe under hotel. Likely not going to return to this hotel on future visits to Emory due to poor staff service and lack of any loyalty program.
My son and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing! Every staff member we encountered was polite, helpful and beyond nice. We are dinner at the restaurant the first night, our food was great and our server Alexa was wonderful! Thank you everyone for making it a great stay!Rooms: 5/5
Everyone here was so friendly and accommodating. The hotel restaurant food was very flavorful with great portions. Special shout-out to Gary L. for his quick, fun rides getting where we needed to go. Thank you guys so much, looking forward to staying here on our next trip!Rooms: 5/5
I won’t stay again. Felt unsafe leaving the parking garage which isn’t attached to the hotel. Too dark and lonely late at night with no security in sight. Felt unsafe. Never did see security. Too much walking with heavy bags. When I left the parking lot, I took a wrong turn. Called the front desk which sent me in the wrong direction and I became completely lost. Needed help from the hotel to get to lobby but it was clear it was my problem , not theirs. Thought I was having a heart attack and heat stroke on the street by myself late at night while the front desk couldn’t be bothered with me. I was exhausted by time I got to the room. Then the stinking mildewed room was flaming hot. The air didn’t work until the engineer came to the room; he said air doesn’t work on high. Missing furniture in the room. No table or chair. For the expensive price, the property doesn’t compare to the century center Marriott which I like better for less money. And parking at the Marriott is in front of the building thank goodness. If you’re elderly stay away from this facility
The hotel was very nice. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stylish. The grounds are beautiful. The bar/restaurant staff were very helpful and the valet/shuttle drivers Gary L. and Mr. King were very helpful and accommodating- 5 stars for Gary L
It was okay, but was very confusing to navigate. It felt like a maze trying to figure out where our room was, even our doordasher got confused and couldn't find the room because there are so many twists and turns and different elevators. There also wasn't a microwave in the room which was inconvenient as we didnt want to order take out and brought microwaveables, the water pressure was low in the shower, and there was no table or chairs in the room to sit at. I was also charged twice in one night for parking, once when I checked in, and again when I checked out 10 hours later. The bed was comfortable to sleep on. It was a decent stay but not worth the price
Beautifully refurbished hotel. Room clean and well appointed. They don't have valet parking or room service, which is why they only get 4 stars. It is the first hotel I've ever stayed in with enough outlets!!Rooms: 4/5
I want to state up front that I am not a princess. I have stayed in my fair share of terrible hotels with missing locks, bugs galore, lingering cigarette smoke smells, cigarette smoke coming in from the room next door, mold, leaky AC units, brown water, no running water, only cold water, etc etc etc granted I wasn't paying nearly $200/night, which is kinda the point of this review But even so, I'm fairly willing to let a lot of things go. Like when I walked in and there were no nightstands, I pulled out the ironing board and set up next to the bed. I didn't even really have an issue when a giant roach emerged out from the balcony door and ran under the desk. I simply called the front desk using my cell phone bc the room phone didn't work and asked them to deal with it; they weren't able to capture it but was nice enough to leave the bottle of bug spray so I could aim and spray if it came back out. Also, didn't have a problem when they didn't really clean the room only made the bed and removed the dead roach. What I DO have a problem with is a roach the SIZE OF MY THUMB running on TOP OF ME while I am IN BED. I was lying on my side, watching Netflix on my phone, when I saw something brown skittering across my shoulder out of the corner of my eye. Not thinking it was a roach why would I assume there was a roach in my bed???!?!?!?, I wondered, did the granola bar fall out of my work bag? I sat up and kind of moved the cover and HOLY MOTHER OF GOD IT WAS A ROACH!!!!!!!!!!! I screamed bloody murder and called the front desk. I can't even imagine the horror if I had already been asleep eggs in ear and such. I honestly don't remember what happened next except that I moved rooms and took sleeping pills to fall asleep. The nighttime hotel staff was extremely kind and understanding and didn't charge me for the Advil PM. They also didn't charge me for the night of the roach in the bed issue. So, excellent customer service, but rooms need furniture and fumigation.
I worked here through a temporary staffing agency. I work as a waiter at the restaurant downstairs. That part was pretty fair. Then I came back and work as a banquet server. I worked at another event, then I came to this event as a second job. I have not eaten all day I am pre-diabetic. The supervisor refused to let us go and eat. There is food in the break room downstairs for the employees. So when I went downstairs to eat. The supervisor came downstairs yelling at the top of her lungs and said I was basically removed from the shift and had me cancelled with the staffing agency I worked with. Now tell me is this a company that cares about their employees.
