The Coin Jam

No wonder this place is rated "Best in Salem." We've only been here a handful of times, but the food is really good and the drink options are plentiful. We tried the tacos recently for Taco Crawl week: the Pork Belly taco and the Jerk Chicken. Both were excellent, although I'm not into spicy food. The Jerk Chicken ramped up the spice the more it lingered on the tongue. The Pork Belly was my favorite, though. Service is great, decor is cool. The game selection is fun, but Monster Bash was missing this time around [sad face]. We look forward to another themed night in the future. Marvel costume party, maybe?

This is place needs to be experienced at least once in your lifetime. Firstly, the environment is an 80's kid's dream, combining the video arcade with a geek heaven. Secondly, the food is quality and deftly pairs the familiar (burgers, fries, tacos, etc) with unique and gourmet touches. The drink selection is focused on local creations and includes beer, wine, and ciders. Thirdly, the game selection is large and varied, ranging from classics to modern entries, including air hockey and pinball. Finally, the staff here is second to none, being friendly, funny, and personable. I've been coming here for almost five years and it's rare to see a new face behind the counter, which tells me that Coin Jam cares for their employees.

No children and most of the classic video games you grew up with! Grab a beer, cider or pop, grab your quarters and play your heart out! If you spent hours at your neighborhood arcade in the 80's, this is your stop. They have classic games and a few newer ones mixed in, to keep it fun. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance-step inside and have a look. Bartenders are friendly, they have a good selection of drinks and games!

The games were awesome and very diverse. Air Hockey, Day of the Dead, Pac man, and handfuls of pinball games and others. The food was very tasty and the posters and vibe of the place was very enjoyable. The staff was very nice and happy. I enjoyed our experience.

This place is pretty darn cool. Love that they have Pac man and beer holders on the machines. Service is good and friendly plus their happy hour is worth hitting up. Haven't tried the food yet but from what I seen it looks good. Fun place to hang out and play some games.
