The Cupcake Shoppe

Amazing service, best cupcakes ever. Not too sweet, always made with care. We had a cupcake tower for our wedding, and several birthday celebrations. Recently they made a custom cake for us - I sketched out a drawing of what I wanted, and the results were unbelievable. Perfect. I can't understand how anyone could find fault with this place. It's always busy, and everyone I've ever talked to loves it. Excellent cupcakes and friendly staff. If you don't go here you're missing out.

Mmmm yess baby!!!! Been craving cupcakes for about 2 days straight and finally saw a sign on yonge saying cupcakes!!! Hard spot to locate just by walking down yonge but if you go down the alley youre in for a delicious surprise!!! The people working there were very nice and had a good assortment of flavors. From cookie dough-red velvet-banana. The cake was super moist and fluffy and the icing tastes like smooth whipped ice cream. Delicious. 5/5 stars. Would recommend if your gfs/bfs mad at you and flowers just arent cutting it anymore. Haha all jokes aside. Great cupcakes. Friendly staff. Good selection. What else could you ask for?

I'm surprised by the reviews, I've always enjoyed their cup cakes, more so the icing (butter cream) I love the taste , its not over sweet like a lot of other terrible cup cakes Ive tried. I've ordered every Christmas for the last 6 years and buy them every time I am in the area. I find them to be very accommodating when you are in the store but not so much when trying to place an order and organize things. One year at Xmas I prepaid for cupcakes but got caught in traffic and couldn't make it by close, I told them well if I'm going to lose them (as they would throw them out) leave them hanging in bag on the door handle as I've already paid for them, but they refused.

Great cupcakes at $3 each - they're moist and not super sweet. It's just about right. The place is also nut free for those with allergies. With the s'mores cupcake, there is a marshmallow hidden in the middle. Something to keep in mind the chocolate icing is thicker than other buttercream ones for those who prefer different icing textures. Nothing too special otherwise about them but standard good to pick as a sweet.
