This place is terrific! We have been there twice, over a year apart and have been impressed both times. It is not cheap but you get very generous portions - I can never finish anything I order although everything I've had has been excellent. The fresh mozzarella sandwich with caramelized onions and the white mushroom pizza were the best we've had anywhere. The salad bar, although it's $12 can easily feed two people and all the toppings are fresh and tasty. The french fries are crisp and perfectly seasoned. The fresh baked items are equally good, especially the raspberry crescent it was just delectable. Even the caramel latte was better than most Cafes - almost on par with Starbucks. Service is friendly if a bit slow. The place is very charming with lots of different seating areas. In my view this is one of the best kosher Cafes anywhere. Tip: If you're driving from NJ, instead of taking the congested main highways take the back roads from the north running near or along the Delaware to be treated to some very nice scenery.
I went during my lunch break from work. It was a cozy place I wasn't expecting. You order at the window and then find your seats with your buzzer and wait to pick up your food at the pick up window. We went upstairs and found so many comfortable places available to sit couches, booths, tables, there was a TV and a quiet room. We chose to sit outside on the deck. It was covered and it was a beautiful day. We had the Chocolate Chip Pancakes and the Confetti Pancakes. They were delicious. I recommend the chocolate chip ones - great chip to pancake ratio. They also offered salads and sandwiches
Food is pretty good, menu changes once in a while so you might be able to vary your order. Service is slow though and the prices are very expensive, even with it being kosher. Edited to add that prices are even more expensive than before. You will need to pick which of your children eats and which goes hungry. Even for kosher food the prices are exorbitant and way out of most people's price range. $12 for a salad, $13 for a personal pizza, $8 for a grilled cheese, etc.
Nice, kosher cafe with a variety of drink and food options. There's plenty of room for seating both upstairs and downstairs with different types of rooms, such as quieter areas for studying. Employees are generally friendly, though service could be a bit faster granted I went around lunch time. The only issue is that there are meters in the parking lot, so if thianposes an issue for you, you are better off looking for street parking.
Very large, beautiful, and clean place. Great for pizza. Very child friendly.
Really terrific food at reasonable prices. Breakfast and brunch foods are excellent and the pizza is great, though no whole wheat options on the pies. It's family friendly, so there is always an undercurrent of craziness, but it's nice to be able to bring the entire family. Overall,a great addition to the community.
The cashier was a nice lady and that's all I can say that's nice. This was our first time here and it looks like a nice place. Then we tried to find a place to sit and most tables were not bussed. I had to clean our table while the staff upstairs were sitting on their asses. I was presented with the saddest looking scrambled eggs and soggy looking potatoes. I returned them as it looked inedible. I asked for a regular slice instead which they were full of apologies. I went back upstairs to see my Mom not eating the slice she ordered. BOTH of our slices were burnt and soggy....wow!
Food was okay/good. Service was terrible! Firstly, the only menu is on the wall. I went with my wife and we ordered 4 different slices of pizza. All the pizzas were already made and sitting on display. It took them 40 minutes to call my order. I had gone down after 15 min to check what they were up to and she hadn't even given them to the kitchen to be warmed up. When i received them, they were in to-go boxes when i had told them i was sitting. Also, one of the slices was not what i ordered. When i told them it had been a long wait, they didnt apologize and one of the employees started to make comments to her coworker in front of my face. Just went back after a year and a half and I have to say that my experience was much more pleasant. The server was gracious and even humorous. My meal was served quite quickly and was exactly what I had wanted. One piece of criticism, if you dont have fish tacos on a regular basis, it can't be on the regular menu, it should be on a daily specials. #fishtacogirl
Really cool hodge page of gourmet food items I orders a house made pumpernickel bagel w butter and onions and smoked salmon. Yumm
There are very few actually good food options on the menu. The few that are good such as the caprese sandwich and mozzarella sticks are way over priced. My family and I went and bought: 2 caprese sandwiches $15 each, an order of smoked salmon that turned out to be 5 tiny pieces 10$, an order of mozzarella sticks $10, and 3 fountain cups about $6, we paid $56.... Overall the food is not so good and way overpriced.
