The Esplanade

This mall is so depressing. There aren't enough stores and eating places. This use to be a great mall. Now not so much. I shop at Lakeside or in Baton Rouge.

This used to be a great mall, but with the loss of Macy's and Dillard's and lots of the smaller shops, it seems to be losing ground quickly. It's still clean and bright, and the bungie jump is great for the children. The movie theater across the car park is a good one and there are some reasonable to good restaurants nearby. It would be nice to see a resurgence, but I suspect the growth of online retail makes that very unlikely.

Honestly this mall is dead compared to the other nearby malls but this mall has a good chance to come back if they would have a better variety of stores and better anchors than the Dillard’s Clearance. Inside the mall they should get rid of that depressing feel (especially in the food court) and modernize the mall...in some parts it almost feels like this mall is stuck in the past. Put yourself in the retailer’s shoes no one wants to rent out a shop or kiosk in any mall where the vibes are depressing... please do something with the depressing orange lights in the food court... Lakeside mall got rid of their older look a while back and and currently they are modernizing it now. I visited this mall a few days ago and the parking lot was desolate and felt like a ghost town. Most stores in here are struggling to survive. I believe this mall has a lot of potential and it can be done.

Very clean mall. Cafe Du Monde was air conditioned. Not a very good selection of foods at the food court.

There's not many stores to choose from. Some of the stores have poor customer service, others have great customer service. I like the bungee jump for kids, the kids room are both great attractions. The parking is plenty, providing easy access to enter at many different location of the mall. I find the prices in the difference stores reasonable. The vacancies are unattractive
