This little place is a hidden gem. The food is amazing. I particularly loved the cornbread that you can get as a side or comes with any dinner you order. The fresh fries and cheese curds were delicious. The fish fry was crisp and so good, no need for tartar sauce. The mac and cheese had a slight and delicious kick to its smoky flavor. The blueberry bbq pulled pork was a wonderful unique take on one of my favorite foods. Please go here. The food is worth more than the price and I can't wait to come back to try brunch sometime.
I want to like this place more than I do. The ideas on the menu are good but not quite executed well. The fryer never seems to be hot enough, resulting in slightly soggy and greasy food. The fish fry was lacking salt, and the batter too thick. Service is always good, the kitchen just needs a little more polish.
It's likeable. Was hoping for a little bit more flavor/spice in the bloody. The food is unique and has good flavor. The prices seemed kind of steep for the establishment, however the food is truly genuine so I think it's worth it. Our waitress was nice and took care of us properly. We will be back!
This local restaurant uses locally sustainable foods, and offers gluten free, organic and vegan options. The menu changes regularly but is always delicious. My mother in law recently ordered a lobster roll see photo and it was better than other places I've seen that specialize in seafood. I had the meatloaf, also delightful, and the table shared the homemade I think all of their food is jalapeno cornbread. Prices are extremely reasonable. I recommend seeking out this hidden gem.
Very clean and bright space. Friendly servers. Large bar too. Prices are average. I got the three cheese burger and requested tomato, lettuce and mayo. Was decent, the patty left a lot to be desired though. I was offered how I would like it cooked, I requested medium. It came out well done and acrid tasting in a few spots, patty seemed dry / was pre-formed and/or previously frozen. The fries were so-so too, seemed over cooked yet still chewy, was strange... makes me weary of trying the poutine. My partner got the lobster roll and side salad... the salad was about 4 bites.. not worth the $2 up charge, yet he said the lobster roll was better then the last one he had in Maine. I plan on trying this place again in the future, maybe try their fish fry or chicken dinners.
We went on a Saturday night and had the surf and turf. This has got to be the best birthday dinner I've had in a very long time. The setting was comfy like home, the people? Like my friends next door. The steak? Melts in your mouth and cooked perfect to order. Even the salad was the tastiest salad I can remember. I found this place by accident picking a gift. We're excited to bring the kids and friends here soon. Definitely a place to go, like going to a friend's for dinner. And that clock! <3
Absolutely delightful gem of a place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a casual , relaxing dinner in a down to earth Ambience. I called in at 8pm and asked what time they closed and was told 9pm. I felt bad and told the hostess that I'd pass a I did not want to hold up the staff or the kitchen. To my surprise the hostess was the OWNER! and she said if you get here by 8.50pm we will still cook for you!! Amazing customer service! amazing staff, Dany was our waitress, she was excellent! Thank you Robyn!!
Awesome small, local spot. Decided to stop for brunch after church and didn't know what to expect and we were all beyond satisfied. interior was much more modern looking than I expected. Menu is on the smaller side but I appreciate that because I could tell they put a lot of effort into their available items. The two lobster dishes my friends got had large portions of lobster and they loved every bite. Our waiter Andy was incredibly friendly and made the experience more enjoyable. The owner even stopped at our table to thank us for coming. We definitely will come back!
After hearing mixed reviews about this place my boyfriend & I decided to give it a try this past Sunday. It was rather disappointing. We saw bloodies advertised on their website only to find out they’re “make your own” style which we aren’t fans of everyone had their hands in the fixings which isn’t very sanitary & we’d rather try signature bloodies anyways. I tried the Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict. The presentation was nice but upon tasting it there was no flavor & the pork was very wet like it was previously frozen & reheated for the day. The roll that it was served on was dry, the sauce on top didn’t taste like anything, & my side potatoes were just salted with no seasonings. My boyfriend ordered the biscuits & gravy & he wasn’t impressed either. He had the same dry roll & the gravy was flavorless. His exact words were “McCormick country style gravy packets are better than this”. Overall, we weren’t impressed but should’ve trusted our guts when we went in & it wasn’t busy at all during Sunday brunch at 10am. All of the employees were very nice though & it’s cute inside.
Great service, bright yet comfy interior and great food. Had the lobster roll. Great flavor, and bun grilled nicely. Loving the homemade fries. Higher price, but it is lobster...get over it and try it. You will like it!
