Our waitress, Michelle, was the most chill waitress we ever met. She made us feel like we were at home eating dinner! She was an awesome person! As for the cuisine, it was excellent. The cod and the brisket were delicious. My wife said the spaghetti squash was a little too spicy but she said the Cheddar Ale Soup was very good. I enjoyed my hot apple cider and the blue cheese garlic bread. My apple pie alamode was tasty but if the pie was heated up it would have been perfect!
Amazing Burger! Great salad with very tasty seasoned toasted pepitas and roasted beets! Delicious fish and chips, though we substituted the chips for the deeply comforting buttermilk mashed potatoes. Drinks were also great and fairly priced. Huge kudos for having Hills Farmstead 'Edward' on tap, truly irresistible! Great Service! Highly recommend! Worth every penny!
A truly fun place to hang out with friends and family. The place was fairly crowded on a Saturday afternoon but we managed to get a table within a couple of minutes. We had a Breakfast Special comprising of scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns and arugula salad in a vinegar dressing. We opted out on the bacon and they threw in an extra hash brown instead. It was accompanied with toasted red hen bread with lots of butter on the side. We also had a roasted squash sandwich and a bean burger with a side of fries. The crispy onion rings were also quite delectable. We washed it down with a pint of Queen City Hefeweizen draught beer. The grand finale was an Apple Pie with Ice Cream. Truly a highly satisfying meal indeed
I love the burger I had and so did the person that was with me. It was perfect size and one of the most tasteful burgers I ever had. I hate sauces but they have their own production ones that are so good and it is worth a try. The quality of the ingredients it is outstanding and it was worth the 30min wait.
Food is good. Burger is the only vegetarian option. It took long time to get the orders but food was good. Onion rings were better than a lot many other places. Corn bread was really good with special butter. Would recommend to try corn bread for sure.
Very cool space and awesome beer list. They had Hill Farmstead on tap which I had been wanting to try and was not disappointed. We sat in the beer garden area out back, which was quiet because it had just opened. I could imagine it being a fun place to spend an evening.
Loved this place! Wonderful offerings for the wandering foodie! Ate at the bar with my husband on a whim. Bartenders were attentive an made appropriate suggestions. Food was elevated yet comforting... Beef tartar, schnitzel, spätzel... All legit. Very nice wine and whiskey selection! We'll be back next time we're in the area!!
Quinn was very helpful and patient in answering my questions! I appreciate that they seem to source ingredients locally. While there aren't specific vegan items, it was easy for my requests to be accommodated. Both the tofu sandwich and salad had great flavors with a variety of fresh ingredients.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Good food and cute atmosphere. Good selection of local ciders and food sourced locally. A little on the expensive side and no refill even on tap sodas and lemonade. We had the cheese tray, the pork shoulder, and apple pie. All very tasty. Gets full quick. We were there at 345 and there was already a line forming.
I got the lamb burger and the beet salad with feta. Both were very good, fresh, and generously portioned. The beet salad is excellent! Vibrant with tangy feta and salty pistachios. The lamb burger was good as well. Very good bun, and cooked perfectly. Overall solid food, and i doubt youd be disappointed by anything on the menu... i still dont understand the hype around the farmhouse however. Its good fresh local food, but theres certainly better options in burlington. Especially at that price point
