The fat light skin curly hair dude is rude and unprofessional! I came in to return some shoes I bought my mother for Christmas and all he did was give me customer service number when I bought the shoes IN STORE! Y’all need to do better and if you don’t like working then don’t work it’s nobody’s fault you are working
The staff is a waist of money for this company. I have gone there a few times and never been helped. They just stand around in a huddle in the center of the store and never attempt to assist the customers that are there to try on or purchase shoes. I have walked out several times when they could have gotten a sale.
I visited 5 sneaker stores today and JD was the only store that had EVERY size that I needed. Not only that but the sales associates were nice. The first 4 stores I went into they didn’t even say anything or they just stared vs asking if help was needed. At least JD Sports customer service is on point. I hadn’t heard of JD Sports prior to today but I will definitely visit again when I need sneakers.
I loved going to this store but the guys were very upset today because it was closing time but I told them I was there just before they closed but they pressured me to buy fast and I was so embarrassed because I couldn't choose the shoes that I liked . In the end, they gave me shoes that weren't my size and they got even more upset because I asked for my money back. I think my expectations of the place have been lowered by people with bad character.
I bought a pair of black Nike 270s from JD sports on March 28th,2022 . I wore these shoes once & they started falling apart . Now I paid $190.80 for these shoes . I decided to return the shoes . These people tell me they can’t refund me for the shoe I bought bc something dirt was on the bottom of the shoe . Something that could’ve been easily wiped off. Y’all clean & fix shoes all day . Smh .This is truly upsetting !! THEY WILL NOT BE GETTING MY BUSINESS EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!
I had the pleasure of winning a raffle at this location. When I entered I had to wait in line due to them having covid restrictions. It was very organized and when I went up to the counter I was greeted by a woman named Kathy. Not only did she help me in a timely manner but she also did so with a smile the whole time, while also making sure I was priority but not letting seconds waste where she wasn't doing a task. Kathy was extremely nice and welcoming. Thanks! Hope to be back soon.
Buyer Beware! I will start off by saying that the gentleman at the register who initially helped me could not have been nicer or more helpful. I had a return, so he had to go get his manager to talk to me. Two days previously I had purchased a pair of Adidas running shoes. I have never had a problem with Adidas, and I run almost everyday. However, this pair after running only four miles hurt my right heel and also my left shin. When I took the shoes back, they still looked new but I was honest and told the manager that I would like to exchange them for a different pair having store credit if possible and that I had only worn them for a short run. I let her know about my injuries, and she shook her head and said that they do not offer exchanges on items that have been worn. While I do understand that policy, I also feel that they should have allowed me store credit and sent the shoes back to Adidas since they appeared to be faulty. There was no recourse and I was required to keep a pair of faulty $140 shoes. If you are fine with knowing that you have no options once you have put the shoes on and want to return them, Finish Line is the place for you. I personally will never shop there again.
I went into the store this past week to look for some new sneakers. There were six employees in the store yet it took over 20 minutes to get any service. During this time, five of them went to the back and didn’t come back while only one female employee was in the front and she was running the register. One of the employees came out finally and asked me for the size of sneakers that I wanted seeing that I was holding a sneaker from a display that I was interested in. He went to the back for another 15 minutes then came back out to give me the box with the sneakers and went back and disappeared. I tried the shoes on but they did not fit so I walked up to the register hoping that maybe the employee running the cash register could go and get the salesperson that got the sneakers for me. Unfortunately, she was by herself at the register trying to ring up several customers and was unable to. No one else came back out front for several more minutes. Then the sales rep helping me finally came back out. At that point, I became impatient and just decided to give the shoes back to the Employee that returned from the back and decided not to buy anything in the store. If this is the kind of service to be expected from this store, which is still relatively new to Cumberland Mall, then they should bring back Finish Line whose salespeople were more attentive.
I understand it is the holidays but that does not excuse the lack of respect shown to customers. I witnessed a terrible show of customer service to a fellow shopper. The staff would not accept some shoes that appeared to me to be in great condition. Whether or not the shoes were returnable does not excuse how the staff acted towards the customer. The staff definitely needs to be checked out by corporate if you guess don’t want a lawsuit soon.
To be honest I've never gotten good service here, this finishline is one of the last shoe places I'd go to in this mall. The employees aren't very friendly and give you a feeling as if they don't want to be there or your bothering them. They seem more interested in their own personal conversations rather than helping and majority of the time just hard to find for help anyway. For that reason I skip over this store every time I shop at Cumberland for shoes, which is a lot given it's my local mall. Maybe a refresher in customer service will do some good here. I gave it 3 stars because the store looks great since the remodel a lot better than the old dark look.
