Amazing experience! I cannot express how happy I am that I found this place. I love the minimalistic feel of this space. I had been looking for someone trustworthy to cut my hair for a while, I went in at first for a 10 minute consultation with Zeena. She really took the time to listen and understand what exactly it was I was looking for. The day of my haircut Zeena put in a lot of time and thought into my cut and I could tell she truly cared about giving me what I wanted. I am so happy with the results and absolutely LOVE my haircut! Zeena is awesome. I don’t know anything about cutting hair, but do know that I’m not an easy customer super fine, virtually transparent hair and a lot of it - plus, I’m annoyingly particular / vain. I usually white-knuckle it through the first couple of cuts with someone new to me, but the Zeena experience was totally different - she knew what to do without any useful input from me and was/is extremely thorough every time. Wow! Fabulous precision haircut by stylist Emily at “The Flying Row”. I have course hair and Emily had her work cut out for her “no-pun intended” - she did such a wonderful job, such detailed fine work and with my cowlicks the challenges were there! BUT she knocked it out of the park! You will not be disappointed if you want a tight look and clean transition from fade to long! Emily’s work was outstanding and she has a professional personality to match her magic hands! If you like a really trendy look and want to walk out of the Salon feeling like a million bucks call and book an appointment. YOU will be glad you did. Andy the owner has the place quaintly decorated and a very hands on owner, he happened to pop in while I was there getting my cut and it was a pleasure to meet him!

Andy has been cutting my hair for years back when he used to work at Hairari in the East Village. He always pays attention to the little details and makes sure his clients feel great about their haircut before leaving the chair. Yuichi and Zeena are both pros at cutting as well and I’ve seen some amazing work from them on all different types of hair. If you don’t want to get a cut that looked like it was rushed in 15 minutes, then book and appointment at the flying row.
