For watching fireworks and have a walk it is a great place. Even to catch some sunset and enjoy the view. Will go there again for sure.
Definitely a nice looking bridge with a great view, but it’s very long not very walkable, Acrophobia fear of Heights triggering with how wide apart the bars are on the side safety fence things making me worry about dropping my phone and you always have to be on the lookout for people rushing by on bikes when you’re on foot. It’s not much better in the car with multiple parts of it being incredibly, almost violently bumpy, especially on the Rosslyn bound side of the bridge which makes me think this bridge is in dire need of resurfacing because it wasn’t always like this. I Know it’s become a bit of a meme with Arlingtonians at this point but yeah, there really should be a Gondola as an option for pedestrians. Even with my fear of heights, a big heavy car hanging a hundred or so feet over the Potomac by a steel cable sounds way les stressful than walking across the The Francis Scott Key Bridge.
Love this launch place to go out paddle boarding. The staff is super chill and I always enjoy this area of the Potomac.
A bridge that connects Georgetown and DC but traffic is horrible around it.
Historic good looking bridge. Wide sidewalks for pedestrians, great views.
Immediately behind the bridge with the green light of the traffic light, turning left and right, there is another traffic light with a red signal. The rest of the cars in the green light of the Svitaphor turn, stand and look at this show for many years I have experience only 18 years. The second star for the fact that this bridge we have! Otherwise -0 stars!
Nice views but I cannot speak much to the traffic.
I love walking across this bridge and staring at the water and the city. Absolutely beautiful and you get some of the best views!
Impressive bridge with great views out over the Potomac. Crossing the Francis Scott Key Bridge also makes for a lovely walk between the Rosslyn Metro stop and Georgetown, offering a nice option for people who are based in Arlington.
It's ammazing for a nice walk or jog
