Overall a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was good but not great. Hawaiian burger had overwhelming taste of pineapple, a thinner slice may have helped it be more balanced. Bacon on burger was undercooked and a little soggy. Burger patty itself was very good as well as the Korean BBQ sauce. Truffle fries were also a little strong in flavor for my taste. Seems like a nicer upscale option for the area.

This was our first time eating there and it was suggested to us by a friend. The food was excellent! The atmosphere was relaxing. The wait staff were very good! All the food was great but I highly recommend the Bruchetta and the pineapple upside-down cocktail!! Delicious!

Went for lunch and ordered soup and a half sandwich. Waiter recommended the smoked broccoli cheddar and I chose the Cuban sandwich. The smoke flavor of the soup was a little over bearing but the sandwich was solid. Seems to be the nicest place in town and it knows it but it may be trying a little too hard. I would have to come for dinner to know for sure.

Amazing Apps and Steaks! We had a awesome experience at the Gin Mill. From our waitresses Alexis to the great food! When had the Bang Bang Shrimp, Alligator Bites and a couple ribeyes. Don't forget to get some of that delicious garlic bread too. Delicious Food Updated: Had the Lamb Chops and Rasta Pasta. The Lamb Chops tasted so good and were so tender!

Finally a nice venue in decatur to eat and have drinks or so I thought ....After multible suggestions from friend and family, Went here for date night and was highly disappointed by the food. Ordered the Lamb Chops dinner and Mahi Mahi fish dinner two most expensive on the menu Along with 2 salmon cakes. $8 each Dinner came with fresh bread was really good! Ceaser salad spicy for some reason? Then came the main course, which was Beautifully presented but.... Baked potato cold and still hard ... Fish was super small portion and spicy... again why? Lambchops were over cooked... sad Along with two cocktail drinks.... both were overly alcoholic and unable to drink. Service was excellent though, so didn't want to complain and ask for diffrent meal due to closing time approaching within the hour. Mind you we arrived at 630. Over all Bill with tip was 138$.... would have saved money going to anywhere else and would have left full, not hungry. Consistency is key with food. Sadly, Will not return.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Had the swordfish special; which was okay but not the best. The twice backed potato is absolutely awesome. The worst thing was the smell of sewer sitting outside on the patio. Not sure what’s going on but there is a frequent burst of foul odor that spoils dinner. Also, I feel like this attracts the flys which made it hard to eat.

Had lunch today, 9-16-2022, and Jessica G. was our waitress. She was very knowledgeable and extremely courteous. We each had a half and half. Lobster Bisque and salad and the soup and Cuban Sandwich with side of fries. We indulged with a Creme Brulee and Triple Chocolate Cake. The food was great and the service was prefect. It was nice to see they had a good crowd with few if any empty tables. Definitely give the restaurant and Jessica G. five stars. Can't wait to go back.

We ate upstairs on the balcony. It was almost too dark to read the menu. But it had a good ambiance. I got the bacon jalapeno burger, cooked just as I asked and it was delicious!! My father-in-law got the lamb chops and they were to die for! My brother-in-law got the rib eye, which was so tender and flavorful! Alexis was a fabulous server! My only complaint is the house salad had onion was cut so small and it was so dark I couldn't pick it off, but the main flavor of the salad was onion. I would have removed it if I could have. My suggestion would be to leave it in bigger pieces.

Matthew was a great server! My steak was perfectly made, the strawberry vinaigrette dressing was amazing, loved the bruschetta and the old fashioned was good! Truffle fries were nice and crispy but didn't taste the truffle very much.

The food is always good. I wish there were more options like this for lunch downtown. This time, though, the waiter might’ve been the nicest/ best one we have ever had in Decatur. Unfortunately I did not catch his name!
