Would give 0 stars if allowed. Do not recommend. Company charged for order but I never received it. Tracking app did not show a tracking number. E- mail requesting status was answered with a phone call saying that one product I ordered was discontinued, they were waiting for a replacement for a different item, and it would ship in a few days. The product they said was discontinued is still available, my order never shipped, and they still have my money.
I would give a ZERO star review if Google would allow! Placed an order on Sunday for frozen blintzes. On Thursday when I didn't receive any confirmation of shipping I called and the owner was extremely RUDE. I asked if when they were shipping and he said they were out of stock and anyways where I live they won't stay frozen when shipped with two day shipping. I said in a calm voice "I assumed if you were offering this option you could ship frozen food as I order frozen food all the time from other companies". I couldn't even get my sentence out without him interrupting and telling me that there's no online vendor that can ship food besides bread that will stay frozen. Seriously...I suggest you do a little research! I then asked to have a refund and he said fine and then proceeded to be rude and try to defend his stance. All he had to say is "I'm sorry" and take some responsibility for accepting an order that was out of stock and never communicating with me. Wow I'm still amazed at how I was treated for just asking when my items were being shipped. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS STORE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW WHO IS GLUTEN FREE TO STAY AWAY!
I ordered Udi's Millet Chia Bread from The Gluten Free Shoppe because it was unavailable in any stores locally. IDK what they did differently, but the bread was taller and fluffier than usual. At local stores, the pieces are shorter, perhaps from being packaged together and frozen from fresh. Everything probably gets squished. After experiencing this bread the way it was supposed to be, we'll be ordering online from now on!
The owner called me personally to tell me that there is a supply issue and cannot fulfill my order. This is a great store! When supply is back, I will be ordering!
I've been waiting almost a MONTH for an order I placed on APRIL 19. I've emailed several times - no response. I guess they. have all the business they need, but I need them to CANCEL the order and release the hold they have on my money. DO NOT do business with these people - they are not trustworthy!
I placed an order online, nearly a month later I still didn't recieve my package. I emailed them 3 times, never got a response. I called and they told me they cancelled my order because it had a frozen item in it although I never received a call or email saying so. I asked if they could send me the products I ordered if I upgraded shipping. They said "yes", took my credit card info over the phone and again about a month later I have not received a bill or my items. The man on the phone kept cutting me off mid sentence although I was trying to be nice. Horrible customer service. You may or may not ever get what you ordered. Take your money elsewhere. Don't waste your time fighting with these people.
Placed an overnight order and paid extra money. The order was never sent and when we contacted them they would not own up to it and instead they said they called to say it was out of stock, but they never called. They never emailed. They did this two years ago to me as well. They are dishonest and do nothing follow through on orders. I would not recommend ordering from them or supporting their business.
Never received my over $100 purchase of items I ordered two months ago now. This seems to clearly be a trend and common occurrence for this shop. I wish I read reviews prior to purchasing. PLEASE listen to these reviews!
Took them over two weeks to process my order. Was called by phone and told I would be refunded for one of four items on my order because it was out of stock. That was 12 days ago that I was fully charged, no refund to date. In plus, they thought it appropriate to ship a perishable dairy freezer item with packing paper only. No freezer packs. They shipped package two day label but I received it four days later. As you can imagine, the freezer item had to be trashed upon arrival
From the reviews it looks like I am not the only one. I never received my order, so I emailed them and did not hear back. I randomly received the order 2 weeks after I placed it. All the items were molded. I contacted them, told them what happened and they said .."it was delivered early afternoon the next day with explicit instructions to freeze the product as soon as you receive it, obviously this wasn't done." No ***, how do I freeze something I never received. They won't refund me ... how is that my fault ? Most expensive bread I've ever paid for that I cant even eat so yes I am sad.
