While being employed to this company, I was super excited getting back into working with children. Most of the staff was amazing, except for a few. I was out a few times due to me being sick and I took photos of proof that I had doctors notes. There were two major events that occurred ,the first incident was when I bleed through my pants and didn’t have a change of pants because of my menstrual cycle. One of the staff said can you come back? My director said know because I lived an hour away. Plus, the fact it was already 2pm. The staff that asked if I was coming back was acting childish the whole time looking like she had something rude to say after I left. Working with all women staff you need to be understandable that I don’t know what’s going on with my own body. Also, heard a number of things and problems with staff being rude and not having communication with a number of staff and parents. My last event was me having some medical issues with another menstrual and addressing it to the director, I was told to stay with me bleeding from my period and stay in nasty dirty pants. Also, being asked to call up front which would have to be every hour due to me going through ultra tampons. I even got upset in front of the director and asked her if I could leave early. I went on my lunch and bleed everywhere on my front seat. Which I proceeded to go home because I was embarrassed, not only for what happened, but the staff never called or emailed me of any concern. For all they knew I could of gotten into an accident or got hurt. Did they care? No. I got an immediate resignation email from the director. Before working here I was told of the high turn over rate. So, you live and learn. I just can’t believe how poorly the staff is treated here.
I live in a neighborhood where several children go to this Goddard School. I have to tell you that I have heard such amazing things about this school that I wish I still had children at home! The activities I hear that the teachers do with the children and the care and concern that all the parents rave about makes me a believer! Plus I sub at a couple of the elementary schools near to it and even the teachers of the elementary school talk about how glad they are to have this Goddard School's students in their classes. It must be a fantastic place!
Not military friendly esp if your hours change and you need a refund due to the fact you don't need your child watched anymore because you work weekend nights and they don't offer weekends. The owners are very knowledgeable and will talk down to you and repeat themselves till they get their way. Also very greedy with money esp when a military member cannot control their work hours. In other words I'm out more than a thousand dollars and my son hasn't even stayed there a day yet.
The owners of this school lied to my wife and I when we were thinking about sending our son there. The female owner was actually rude to us. In speaking with other parents at our current daycare, that's apparently her reputation. You should go to the Primrose School in that area, they just opened and are quite friendly.
The owner here is super unprofessional and rude to staff, she’s the reason people quit left and right.
