I'm old enough, at 54, to remember the gold dome as a bank when I was a child growing up in OKC, and it has never ceases to enthrall me. My most wonderful experience of this landmark was being flown over it in a propeller plane when I was 4 years old. Apparently, the site keeps changing hands, and many uses for the building are bandied about; I can't wait to see what this great building will become next!

Remants of old glory. The building is closed now and other than the unique shape nothing much to see just empry parking lot and an old adondoned building. See my photo. Ok if you are nearby for a quick look. Not worth a drive to see it.

I am ranking this high because of its Historic importance in Oklahoma Modernism and architecture. I use to come here a lot in the 80s when I was young. Save Oklahoma Modernism. Its more then just a building its Oklahoma History.
