The hall is huge and had great acoustics. The site lines for meet of the seats is not good though. This is especially true if you are a short person. The seats are wooden and fairly comfortable. As someone who loves history, being in the hall is awe inspiring. The main speaker at the event I attended used the same podium that Lincoln did when he woke there.

The hall is a very impressive and historic place, which is great. But the columns in the middle really can obstruct a person's view, making it a less than desirable place from a pure enjoyment perspective. Still, overall the acoustics and everything are pretty good.

Be very careful about your seats because there are a lot of of columns blocking the way for people
