The clams, trout, and pickled veggies were delicious. The trout came on a bed of fancy mushrooms, onions, and squash. Gin and tonic and old fashioned were strong and balanced. Atmosphere was a bit noisy but laid back. Service was excellent.

I am seriously impressed with this place! Everyone in my party was very happy with their meal. Food was delicious and attractively presented. Even the coffee was very good and we are picky coffee drinkers. Definitely this will be a new local favorite!

The best lunch spot on pine street and one of the best in Chittenden county period. Beautiful vintage bar, great staff, tasty food and drink options, and a real fireplace to keep it cozy during the winter. I can't get enough of The Great Northern and this is now a weekly stop in for me.

They have an awesome beer selection and make great cocktails. Their oysters are on point as well! Great experience!

Tasty food and plenty of adult beverage options. Outdoor seating is great on nice days. The service here was prompt and professional.
