Assisted Living. Defined, meaning requiring assistance in normal, everyday, living. Not able to be independent anymore. So, my wife and I leave to live out our remaining days at the Harrison. Transportation provided for store trips, Dr/Medical visits, Wellness/Nurse staffed 24/7, including pendent alert device, religious services available, lease agreement documents and verbal promised monthly costs at The Harrison…way off matching. This move on December 28,2021 until now, December 6th 2022, has been the BEST DECISION EVER in our continued lives.
This place is beautiful!! Walk through the front doors and you will be amazed! Cruise ship feel with the huge atrium...Come see for yourself!!
I've only been working at The Harrison for 5 months and it's been one of the the best places that I have ever worked. The team does their best to make sure that the residents are happy and well taken care of. If there is a problem, one of the team makes sure that it is promptly addressed. This team is focused on making the Harrison the best that it can be for the residents.
The Harrison is a magnificent place to work. When looking for people who really care about others, look no further. Every part of our Family residents and staff work together very harmoniously. We are making improvements every day to better everyone's lives. Proud SONDIA employee! We have activities and Happy Hour weekly often with live music. Our Coordinator Amy is not only fun, she works tirelessly to inform our residents to be advocates for themselves. Our Therapy Coordinator, Cara cares about every resident in the building, not just those whom she treats. Our Wellness Director, Secrena, and her Assistant, Anita, are a super power team of skilled nurses who love our people! I cannot say enough wonderful things about being a part of The Harrison team!
The team here care a lot for the residents. I have been impressed by how they try to collaborate with each other and families to do what’s best for the residents. While I see they have things they are still working to improve, they really care.
I am new to the area and ne to the facility. The residents are happy here..." the staff can't always fix it right away but they find someone who can" " I feel safe here" "they keep it clean" I was assigned to cover this facility for a few days and when the opportunity came up to be assigned permanently I jumped in.
This is a fine Westside Indy facility. Remodeled recently and filling up with sensible seniors. Come check it out! I have been there for a while and would refer it as very good.
The staff is great. Putting Berlin in charge of memory care is the best decision The Harrison made.
Facility is awful. Infested with bed bugs and cockroaches. Nurses/aides are HORRIBLE at getting ahold of & don’t care about the care of the residents. Sooo much more I could say, if you want more info, contact me! This is NOT the place to send your loved ones to live the rest of their life.
I was sent to the Harrison in January of 2016. I was part of a major ,Re-construction,Re-Model,of all three floors. This 19 month journey, was with still, residents, living, eating, and trying to enjoy each blessed day they woke up .. I was lucky and worked with great people each day. But seeing each residents face each day,Was another level. With staff, directors, housekeeping, kitchen, and dining employees. I will be the first to comment, Amazing group of people. The Harrison, with Susan, office staff, all. Included residents, gave me a feeling of goodness, respect, and most all. Wanted,Needed,& Appreciated for my effort. A bigg Hello out to everyone. God Bless you all. Eddie Smith Former D.M.K. Development Group Employed,
