The Hive Salon

The Hive is such a great salon! The location is great, lots of food and coffee options. The best part of their location- they have free parking! The salon itself is gorgeous and I love all the hexagonal mirrors and furniture. Lots of plants and lights and I love that they feature local artists. The Hive is great for curly hair, but they have stylists for everyone! I see Holly and she is excellent. I have never had so many compliments on my hair! She always keeps my hair beautiful and healthy. Definitely one of the best salons in the Twin Cities!

They're FANTASTIC! There happened to be a last minute appt when I called. The stylist was so nice!!! She was totally knowledgable and easy going. She knew the style was a big change so we got the basic form cut and went shorter and shorter till it was perfect. I LOVE hive. They're so great!!!

I visited The Hive Salon for the first time today. The space itself is clean and modern, and they have gone to significant lengths to install plexiglass and distance stations. In general, I am a little nervous about having someone new cut my hair, but my stylist Ashton was amazing. They listened to me and my hair concerns/goals then took their time to give me a beautiful cut that compliments my wavy hair. Ashton was also personable and fun to talk to. I will definitely be returning.

Great experience! Fairly easy to get to. Parking is good. The place is super cool and clean and they take every precaution to keep you and themselves safe! Frankie did an amazing job with my hair and made me feel welcome and cared for. She showed me how to style my hair easily and answered any questions I had about hair care and products. Plus, she's another animal lover like me! Always a bonus!
