The Home Depot

Excellent customer service provided by the Cashier. However, lots of employees, very little assistance throughout the store. My latest and previous experiences give me the impression that the majority of employees working there do not enjoy their job, or that little emphasis is placed on positive customer interactions. If you like a self-help, find it on your own and figure it out yourself store, then this is your place. Otherwise, I recommend Ace Hardware, or Lowe's.

Great place for parts for home projects. Note please know what you are doing asking for advise is useless no one knows what they are doing. The workers here are not retired or ex contractors. I have been shopping professionally at home depot for 10 years nothing has changed in that topic. Prices are better than most small chains

Always easy people to deal with. I made a purchase but didn't get what I really needed and had to return it. Even though I did not have my receipt and the package was open they took it back without a question or even a lifted eyebrow. I'm always pleased there.

The folks at the registers have always been pleasant and helpful. I just purchased a load of lumber and a door. I got to load it all by myself as a young man who was stationed to help load stood by and screwed around with his little plastic red flags. I shop alot at the Oregon City store and it has become a joke whenever offered help to load. The cashier says to pull up and someone will help you. The loaders always disappear. Please stop offering help if there isn't going to be any or start paying attention to what your loaders are not doing!

In and out. Although, while I looking for a common item which I've purchased at several other Home Depot, a associate came over to offer me help, after I told him the item, with attitude he responded, "I've never seen said item ever." I stated "Well other Home Depots have this item." And with a huff he suggested checking another area in the store. I've been shopping at Home Depot longer than this guy has been alive. Why must I tolerate associate attitude? Home Depot online can tell you exactly where an item is in a store and how many are in stock.
