I never write reviews but I feel Home Depot and the management at this store needs to hear my experience. I am remodeling a bathroom and needed a mirror, glacier bay, 36x42. I live in Owings Mills but my close location did not have any in stock, so when I checked and say this location had 8, I ordered online and drove 30 minutes out of my way to pickup. Upon arrival, the representative at the pickup counter told me there were none left in stock and she "meant" to cancel my order and said the online stock is wrong sometimes. If it showed only 1 or 2 I would have understood, but showing 8 in stock and telling me there are none peaked my curiosity. She refunded my order and I decided to head back to the mirrors just to double check. There WERE 7 OF THE EXACT product I ORDERED THERE! I ended up getting the products I was told were out of stock and purchasing what I needed myself. Also to note, there were roughly 8 employees in and around the online order/return pickup location just talking and hanging out. From a customer perspective, it seems as though they just didn't feel like walking back to get my order and figured it'd be easier to just say it's out of stock and refund then actually doing their job. I can't imagine how many customers this happens to let alone the revenue Home Depot is losing because of employees not wanting to do their jobs. Home Depot used to be a place of incredible customer service but, has gone down hill year after year, and it's sad coming from someone who enjoys home projects. God forbid you need actual help with a problem, google and YouTube are your best bet because finding someone in the store willing or knowledgeable about the products is almost impossible. Do better Home Depot.
I went to Home Depot looking for 30" by 64" blinds! While looking, I noticed the prices have doubled! Wow!!! However, I couldn't find the blinds no matter how hard I looked! There was an associate named Johnny from Shipping and Receiving putting out equipment, stopped what he was doing and took the time to help me find the blinds! No matter how hard we looked, we couldn't find them anywhere! However, Johnny reminded me what true customer service is! He persisted and searched the whole blind section with me until he found the 30"64 cordless blinds I was looking for in, a box that was turned upside down and looked like trash left on the shelf! Kudos Johnny from Shipping and Receiving! Thank you for helping me! I even told the Manager! Keep up the Great Customer Service Johnny! Thanks!
Rude young ladies work at self checkout. Minding my own business and needed to get a bag from another empty lane. “We could have gotten that for you” with a nasty tone. Then “I hate customers, I can’t do customers” real loudly from Anayya to the other person working. I asked for manager and she tried to block me. I said I’ll call the store if you won’t help me. Then she finally called manager on duty and I told him this wasn’t the way to treat a customer. He didn’t care and walked away. Serious training needed here!!!
Every time I go here they have what I'm looking for. I don't really like that ALL of their registers are self check out and never working but it is what it is. The staff isn't very friendly and I've never had one employee ever ask me if I needed help which is sad but the location is convenient.
Something unbelievable happened to me at this Home Depot today. It should be 0 starts not even 1. I was kicked out from this location by the so “called manager and so called officer”.without even entering the Home Depot yet. My worker was waiting for me at the cashiers computer to helped him with an extra cart, while I was approaching the entrance from the exit door. The manager stopped me shouted OUT to my business partner and I. When I was trying to explain her the reason why I was entering the wrong way, she suddenly called the “so call officer who was so disrespectful just like the manager. He tooked my cart and pushed it and hurt my leg, they thought I didn’t understand English. It’s really sad that Home Depot hires those type of managers or officers that are unethical, rude and have no ways to speak with customers. This is the WORST experience ever in Home Depot in the area of CUSTOMER SERVICE and at this location. I encourage to think twice to come here. The worst of the worst.
I went to purchase interior paint. The customer service I received in that department was great. The sales lady knew exactly what I needed and helped me find other items I was looking for. I was in and out within 20 minutes.
This home Depot never has anything stocked, they usually have it in the back but nobody wants to get it for you. I would drive right past this place and find a supply house, no point in stopping, you won't get what you need anyway.
This Home Depot stole my money, from a Mother's Day gift card purchase, and still haven't been resolved although I have all supporting docs. If it wasn't for Mr. James Y, Mr. Robert, Maliik, Ms. Debbie, and Lavar going above and beyond, I would drive all the way to Lowes. Bring an issue to other folks, and they'd respond with, "so what would you like help with?"
Generally up top as far as a home Depot goes. Good staff, decent location, well stocked shelves. Your all in one stop for home improvement and repairs.
Lisa was rude and unprofessional when it was time to add stuff to cart and time for questions. She had no knowledge to assist, only smart remarks and tons of unprofessionalism. She tried to force a bundle deal after we already explained that we don’t want a bundle deal and will gladly pay separate because we are only intending to buy things that are displayed in the store so we know what we are getting. Troy with blue hair comes over not even a manager and is no assistance, even worst experience and refuses to assist any longer and refuses to speak with my mom because she no longer wanted his assistance due to his rudeness and unprofessionalism. Lisa and Troy attitude was HORRIBLE. They are asked away and said “I’m not helping you and going on my lunch since you’re not listening” Worst customer experience ever. To leave mid order and go on lunch and deny us a manager! We waited almost an hour ! I know places are short staffed but the employees you choose to keep represent this store and this company.
