The Home Depot

I had a recent visit that was fairly quick and convenient. I had a couple of returns with no receipts and receive store credit fairly quickly. I did not request any assistance from representatives today, we all know that HD Reps like to disappear when you need them most! L O L. Overall a speedy visit.

Home Depot to the rescue. Always helpful, needed some booties and rubber gloves for a job that requires entry through the house. Paint clerk got me what I needed very quickly.

I enjoy having home depot so close. I need to get more comfortable asking for help. I spent a long time staring at screws. I found all but one of the ones I needed. I have an electric piano that is missing several pieces of hardware. I finally gave up and went home. But I did find most of what I needed. It was really cool that they have a board with different holes to screw an existing screw into so that I knew what I was looking for. They were labeled. It still took me a while to understand. lol. I prefer shopping online for most things but I have to go inside for things like that. And there are people to help. I just have to ask. I also like that I can have them cut boards so that they fit my project and I don't have to cut them myself. I used this service to make new shelves for my kitchen cabinet. I plan to do the same for some of my closets.

Thank goodness I'm not building a whole house! Just needed a couple of security doors and locks. It's hot in there and couldn't find anyone working there to help us. After two trips to the front for no reason some employee just walking by helped us and he had just started working there ! He was very helpful. They need more help at this store.

At the Home Depot where employee seem to be more interested in taking turns to his from customers. Needed help today to cut some lumber/wood and had to go to the front twice to get help. Even with about four employees walking by not one bothered to ask if I need assistance. Horrible customer service. Don’t care about working at this location find something else to do.

I never give reviews on stores like this but this store has the best associates! The guy from the paint department went over & beyond helping me look for a shade of paint I needed for my home. They were out of stock of the one I originally wanted & he ran to look for a ladder to check in their stock & apologised for being out. He helped me through other colours of gold as that’s what I needed & got me cardboards too even try even tho people aren’t really supposed to. I was happy & impressed with his outstanding service but I didn’t get his name. We finally match a good paint & I was a happy customer! Good job!

Love this store! I have to say that Ryan over at returns/pick-up has been the best home depot employee I've seen though. He is so good at making my trips to the store great!

Last 2 times I went for propane, they were all out. The kid at the register said they're always out and that they have people asking for it all the time. Aside from that, I needed some special drill attachments which they had at a good price.

The store at 36th Street and Thomas is among the busiest locations. Had a issue with a cashier Spoke to the manager, Joaquin. More than took care of the problem. Home Depot has some of the best retail managers. I have done business at more than four in the valley. This location has a great display of pre lighted Christmas Trees. The location and presentation made me smile. Also have some great large Christmas figures.

There's only so much I can say, so I'll sum it up as such: Constant shortages Constant products that are damaged/missing parts Have had to return multiple tools that straight up don't work. I usually have no problems with Home Depot, but there's something about this location that has it running off the rails.
