This store could use an overhaul on organizing. Bought a planter, clearly on the planter it is marked at $12.98. The shelf price and what it rang up as was $13.98. I didn't think it was allowed to charge more than what the item was marked. I understand everything is going up, but this wasn't right. The customer service is a hit or miss. For the most part everyone is great. Trying to find things NOT so great at times. You can usually find what you need somewhere else cheaper!
My twin sister and I went to the Albany Home Depot to get a new power nozzle for pressure washer. They didn't seem to have the brand we needed. Kyli gave great customer service by verifying that they didn't have the brand we were looking for but did have another power nozzle by a different brand. It was the last one available and she gave us a good discount on it since the brand we wanted wasn't available. Michelle was our cashier and made sure everything was correct and gave me my military discount. They were both great helping us. And the nozzle works great! Much appreciated Kylie and Michelle helping us find what we needed and taking care of us. We will be going back again for other projects soon.
Mike in tools helped me find a nice orbital sander and rotary hammer drill. Kim is a sweetheart. Phenomenal customer service!
My husband and I went in on Monday and ordered a stove. The final cost was just over $1,000. We paid to have it delivered, installed and the old one hauled away. We were notified yesterday that our delivery time would be between 11-3 today. The delivery driver called me at 0930 and told me he'd be at our house in 20 minutes. I explained it would have to be delivered during the appointment time, as that was when I had family available to be there. He told me this wouldn't work for him. Getting something delivered during the time YOUR COMPANY set up the appointment for wouldn't work for the delivery folks? I called your customer service for delivery line 3 different times, after being hung up on once and transferred back into the telephone queue another time. Finally I got in touch with someone and they reported to the delivery driver that it would need to be delivered during the appointment time. At 1100 your customer service for delivery contacted me stating the delivery driver was at my home and "it didn't look like anyone was there". My mom had been waiting there in my livingroom ten feet from my front door since 1045- no one ever came to the door. There were two cars parked in the driveway, so I dont know how it would "look like no one was home". I attempted to contact the delivery driver directly and he answered the phone, then hung up on me. When I attempted to call back again, it went straight to voice-mail. We canceled the order and won't be doing business with home depot again. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever experienced.
This star by the trucker… After driving 2000 miles, with all crazy whether conditions, manager didn’t find any solution for offloading. He ask me to park outside of HomeDepo. Was so helpful …!!!
Employees are helpful. The store is easy to maneuver around and find what you may need. If not, there are always online options and other stores.
We had to pick through almost an entire unit of 2x4's to find a dozen straight ones. Help us less than stellar and generally doesn't know much about products or even where to find them in the store. HD seems to be moving to carrying high profit items rather than actual building supplies, as it's difficult to actually find some of the less exciting or flashy consumer oriented DIY items they used to sell. If it wasn't for needing the items I needed immediately, I would have just ordered them from my local hardware/lumber store, even at higher prices.
I might be a little biased because I work at one of the top 10 busiest Home Depots in the US, but we still work hard to provide the customers the best experience we can with the resources we have, ie staffing shortages.

On the 28th of November I visited Home Depot in Albany, OR. I could not locate a Good Friday sale item. A sales cashier named Kimberlie spent considerable time tracking it down for me. Thank You Kimberlie!
