Our first time here, and we were WOWED! Incredible drinks and options. Our bartender was amazing, and she made our drinks customized if wanted. The decor is seriously tiki cool. Not loud or crowded. Food was really good as well.
Loved loved loved this place!!!! The tiki themed bar with best cocktails. This place is fantastic from the staff to the atmosphere! The staff was very pleasant, the hostess was accommodating and managed to serve us better. We ordered pineapple rice with chicken as recommended by the server and it was delicious. The drinks are strong and tasty. Overall a great place for a drink with a cool atmosphere. Be prepared to wait a bit on the weekends but it’s worth it.
We went just for drinks but the food smells and looks so good. Staff were amazing always friendly and verifying if we needed something. The presentation of the drinks are so lovely!! a little bit strong for me but I don’t drink that much so all good
From out of town - Super fun, unique atmosphere! Friendly staff. Drinks and crab Rangoon were excellent! The Báhn dog was meh - basically a thick hot dog with a bunch of stuff on top that kind of ends up falling off so not really a special flavor to the dog - that item was great. But overall a fun place to try!
Super cool Polynesian vibe. And it's not all about the ambiance. The drink menu, staff and food menu bring the next level of intent and taste. You can tell they have put time and effort into their choices of what they serve and who they have serving it.
Visited 3 times to this place in a months time, definitely the super cool delicious cocktails is the reason that is driving me back to this tiki bar. Ambience - the theme goes hand in hand with the cocktails and menu which makes it a unique experience. Food - Crab Rangoon is super tasty along with the pineapple fried rice. The rice was a bit salty though. Overall, love the place, one of the fav places to visit in Indy.
Wonderful bar. I went here for my birthday and had a lot of fun. The decor was awesome and the food and cocktails were even better. Prices were fair and they had delicious mocktails for our DD. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Solid flavor and service. The chili green beans were delicious, as were the cocktails I tried a couple - they're all tropically inspired and tasty. The wings were perfectly fried, but the Tom yum dry rub wasn't very even though deliciously sweet & spicy when properly applied. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture, but my fiancèe's bahn dog vegan was *incredible.* Great flavor pickled onions are a great touch - highly recommend.
Hello tiki enthusiasts! This location is an all new level of escapism. As you enter, you immediately place yourselves within the walls of an Inferno, which is amazing! The ambience within changes as the sun sets, which you need to experience. The walls are elaborately decorated with a genuine PNG feel literally. There are two levels, which of course you have to wander and experience for yourselves please be mindful of the hard working staff while doing so. You of course have to visit "The Outpost", which is the second bar housing the PNG collection of the Bien family, and lies within the walls of The Inferno Room. The entire feel of the location is as though you are within the walls of a museum. The drinks here are concocted with care and equally balanced and presented in the same fashion, as they are amazing! The munchies are good and pair well with the beverages! Anyone in the area, not just the tiki enthusiasts, have to experience this location, you won't be disappointed you did! Perhaps call ahead and make reservations, just to guarantee your experience!!! This tiki bar sets itself aside from the rest, as it continues to be on my top 5 list of tiki bars around the country!!!
The Inferno Room definitely excels in theming drinks. the decorations and music helps transport the visitor into a tropical hideaway. The booths are a bit cramped for four adults, and became a bit uncomfortable after a while. The drinks were delicious, and strong! No complaints about the quality of these tropical concoctions. Service during our visit was a little lackluster, and we suspected they may have been a bit short-staffed. Honestly, in this day and age, it is to be expected - but this does sadly ruin the "tiki" experience a bit when the drinks are taking longer than one might anticipate at a tiki bar. My biggest complaint, and honestly minor in the scheme of things, is that there is a merchandise display en route to the restrooms, and I wanted to purchase some merch to commemorate the visit - but I wasn't sure who to talk about doing such. Given that the display is across from the bar and they sell several tiki and bar glasses, the bar seemed the most logical place to ask. I did have to wait a while for either of the bartenders to acknowledge me, and was informed to ask our server. I don't think they meant to be, but they seemed a bit perturbed that I asked. Again, this was a minor issue. Drinks were great; the food was good; the theming was awesome; my party has an overall good time, and that is what matters.
