Dunbar Funeral Home was the best. At home and at the funeral, they went out of their way to be gracious, kind and helpful with our dad, when we lost our mom. They were always there and available to help us through any questions that we had. I can't think of anything they could have done better. Dunbar was a shining light in a very sad time for our family. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Dunbar.

It has taken me a long time to post this review, but if I could give a lower review than 1 Star I would. Dunbar Funeral Home helped with the service and burial of my friend in October 2015. One of the ushers decided that this would be an appropriate time to hit on several girls at the funeral of their recently deceased friend. He talked about how “beautiful” they were and asked for their numbers. I was extremely angry and called the company the next day to complain. I talked to an equally condescending man on the phone, who just kept repeating that the young man I reported was simply “a good Christian man” and would never mean harm. This situation was so wildly inappropriate, and I would caution anyone who deals with them to be wary of how unprofessional the staff can be. I am posting this now because even at the almost two year anniversary of his death, I still get angry when I think about how this company made a horrible day even worse.

I was extremely pleased with the service we were provided at the passing of my wife's mother. The staff all seemed genuinely concerned with our well being and did a great job with the service at a difficult time.

I was very disappointed in the Dunbar facility my father passed away and had to be cremated they would not allow me to view my father without charging me like an outrageous fee I didn't want him to have a funeral I wanted to just to be cremated but they would not allow me to have any kind of closure without having to pay like a $400 fee just for me to see him funerals are already a very difficult time for someone but to be charged an outrageous fee during a time when you're the only one paying for things on your own is just absolutely cruel
