I had the afghan aushak and it was so delicious. I eat predominantly plant based and loved this dish. The portion is a lot and two people can share. The rice pudding is also yummy. I highly recommend this place. Affordable and yummy!Food: 5/5
One word: YUMMY!! It was my first time eating here so I had NO idea what to order, what the portion sizes were like, and what to expect. Y’all…..if you like middle-eastern/central asian type foods you def need to come here. It took me a while to decide what to want because they have so many options and Mithu, the cashier was very helpful with all my questions. I appreciated her customer service. Anyway here’s what I ordered: Aushuk appetizer and the Mediterranean platter. the aushuk platter was a FULL MEAL yall…the portion for the platter was HUGE too. I couldnt finish either one so I packed them up and will be enjoying tomorrow. :. The price for both of these was $18. Next time, I definitely want to try the lamb! I definitely recommend coming here to try the food and having a taste of a wonderful cuisine! Vegetarian options: Delicious!
The food was good, and I feel like having indian & Mexican food. The owner was exceptionally friendly. Vegetarian options: Falafel
We ordered a to-go plate of the chicken shawarma with rice, humus, fries, baklava and naan. Overall it was not bad, the chicken had a distinct flavor and red color. Although it was not a favorite of mine, it was an opportunity to taste authentic food from the Middle East. The naan and baklava was very good.Food: 4/5
Tried their afghani burger and lamb kabob platter. Afghani burger is too good and juicy. Lamb kabob was just fine as meat pieces were not soft enough rest salad and rice were on point. Will try chicken kabob someother ti.e
First time came to Baltimore . Looked many places but this place is legitimate . Ordered chicken tikka . Just unbelievable taste and quantity was sufficient . Going to order dinner as well . Though I had to wait a little but but it’s worth to wait for it . Kudos to the team .Food: 5/5
Excellent food! The restaurant is located in one of the most vibrant places in Baltimore. And the portion they provided was also great. We took a chicken wrap, and a lamb rice bowl. Enjoyed the meal, and definitely coming back here.Food: 5/5
The food was actually pretty good. I started eating here a few weeks ago. It’s just very unfortunate that I found hair in my food as I was mixing it.Food: 3/5
If you’re also looking for a place that isn’t a chain restaurant you will probably end up here. The food was surprisingly good, and I especially enjoyed the lamb. Unfortunately this place is in a really bad area. You need a code to get into the bathroom for good reason. I saw several non-customers try to get in. Some random person also came in and sat at the table next to me for the entire time I was eating. He didn’t get any food, just sat there rubbing his hands together. I’m not sure what drugs he was on.
This. Food. Is. GOOD. That's pretty much it. It's worth it. I went all out and got the Lamb Kabob came with rice, naan, and side salad--fantastic dish, a side of French Fries slightly crispy outer skin, hot, and delicious, another side of Garlic Naan soft throughout the meal--thought of saving some for leftovers but couldn't, a Baklava dessert slightly nutty, slightly sweet, wholly delicious, and a Mango Lassi perfect balance of sweetness--not all places get it right. Yes, I ate a lot. It was all so good. Look at my before-and-after photos, if you're doubtful. I went on a Sunday afternoon when there was a concert playing nearby at the Power Plant Live area and the restaurant still had plenty of tables open. They almost forgot my side dishes, but I reminded them. The only downside is your parking situation. There are garages nearby, and they're expensive. I was here for maybe an hour and paid $20. Ubering could get expensive, too. Walking is cheapest if you're already nearby. I'm not a local, so if there are better options, I sadly was not aware of them. Aside from parking, the food itself is worthy. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Is it the best? That's always debatable, but I don't think you'd disagree that The Kabul's menu is full of flavor and satisfaction to the max. 5/5 stars from me! Parking: Parking nearby is largely expensive garages. I was there for a little over an hour and paid $20. Kid-friendliness: There were kids around when I went. Family-friendly restaurant.
