The Lamp Shade

I would highly recommend The Lamp Shade. They we're able to re-wire a lamp that had been in my husband's family since the 60's. Marianne also helped me pick out a new shade and finial that gave the old a modern touch while still keeping it's classic integrity. I will definitely be back!

This is the place to go if you're looking for a lamp shade. The owner is very nice, and she helped me pick out a lamp shade for a lamp that belonged to my parents while they were alive. She found exactly what I was looking for and was very patient and helpful with suggestions. I needed another shade for a lamp I recently purchased, and again, she came up with the perfect shade.

Excellent, excellent customer service. Our cats broke a glass lamp shade to a lamp that belonged to my mom who passed away in February. It had a lot of sentimental value to me and I was very disappointed that I couldn't seem to find the right lampshade anywhere. Marianne was wonderful, extremely helpful and not only tracked down the right shade, when she learned it was discontinued she was still able to find me one, very quickly at that. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this business. I felt like they valued me and went above and beyond.

I stopped in to look for a simple finial for a small lamp. The threaded opening was too big for the selection on hand. They first showed me an adapter but after looking in their old used parts bin, these fine folks offered me an old well-patinated finial for free. It fit just fine and I can’t say enough good things about this shop.

The salesperson was knowledgeable, professional and patient. I choose a new lampshade and finial for two lamps and she even helped me out to my car. Definitely bring in the lamp you want a shade for to get a perfect fit.

Love this shop! Huge selection and they show you what looks best. I had no idea how to shop for a shade, so I took my lamp in. Now every time I look at it in my beautiful great room I'm happy all over again. Parking's a challenge, but so worth the effort.

I’ve had two lamps I inherited. Very cool but in serious need of some new shades. Looked and looked for some in all the big box stores to no avail. Found my way to The Lampshade Store and Marianne. Love, love my “new lamps” and shades. Great way to get a custom personalized look.

I stopped by the Lamp Shade for the first time today, on Christmas Eve morning. Marianne was tremendously helpful in assisting me with a couple of lampshades for our Old Worthington home. Great service & large inventory. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing experience!! Cannot say enough good things about this store and the customer service provided. Beyond anything I've experienced in a long time. Absolutely gorgeous lamp shades too. Don't go anywhere else.

Maryanne was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. As it states on the website, it's best to bring the lamps in question into the store. Parking can be a bear since the entire area is under construction, but I was able to snag a meter just steps away around the corner.
