Got my brows microbladed with Laurie, and I was very happy with my results. Update: Laurie has since left this business and is working out of her own shop. The second layer of numbing cream helped tremendously, and then I was just feeling pressure and no pain. Overall my experience was good, and I was happy I did it. I love my brows! I now have more symmetrical, fuller and darker eyebrows that I don’t have to fill in. Update: My lash artist is Laura and she is GREAT! The perfect amount of lashes and I always get so many compliments on how natural they look. LOVE her and would HIGHLY recommend her to all. I still visit this location to get my eye lashes done and I would travel anywhere to get them done with Laura, she is THAT good.
Bella is awesome!! The salon was a fun inviting place. All the ladies are very kind and laugh and my corny jokes. In all seriousness I have had them do my brows for a few years and finally caved in for the lash extensions. Despite the stylist being in training she was amazing! They never hire or keep on stylist that don’t live up to the quality Lash Lounge is known for. I will continue to go back there for my brow tint, thread and lash extensions!!Services: Makeup services
I just had my lashes filled at the Lash Lounge Portland. The location is clean and all the girls working were kind and made me feel comfortable. Britnee was the lash artist I had and she was amazing! Definitely recommend this spot for your lash needs!
I saw Britnee today and she was so wonderful! I had to get up mid appointment to use the restroom and was so frazzled but she was really understanding. My eyelashes turned out beautiful and it was great chatting with her. I definitely recommend booking with her. :Service: Eyelash extensions
After a fairly nasty breakup, I decided it was time to change whatever I could possibly get my hands on. My eyelashes were part of that transformation. I chose The Lash Lounge because of the glowing reviews they had, and I thought to myself, why not? So I booked the soonest appointment I could find. Y’all, let me say, the possibilities are endless. These people are legit, and the quality of the lashes and glue are above all else. If you’re ready for the best looking lashes of your life, hesitate no longer. Treat yo’self!
My appointment with a senior stylist got canceled in Lake Oswego a few hours before.. and rescheduled in portland with a newer stylist. My eyelashes look good but she was rushed because they squeezed me in between 2 appointments. Unfortunately that was at the expense of my eyeballs getting infected. I honestly don’t know how they expected a newer stylist to complete my full set in an hour and a half. Since the previous client was late, my appointment ran a few minutes late as well and of course I got a parking ticket since my appointment went well over 2 hours. I am so frustrated that they kept rushing this girl to do my eyelashes when they said they had the time. Getting bacterial conjunctivitis is disgusting and should never happen at such a high end salon.. my eyes hurt so bad. I know it is not allergic reaction to the glue because I have gotten lashes before and never had this issue. I think it might be time to review the sanitary standards for this location.
Natalie did an exceptional job, listening to what type of lash look I wanted and they turned out amazing! I was so impressed with how quickly she worked while making me feel comfortable. Will go back for more services.
ETA: I recently made another appointment for a brow thread and tint with Natalie, a stylist in training, because I really liked her work and I am all about saving a few bucks. The day before my scheduled appointment with Natalie, I was called and told she wasn't available anymore and would I be ok with another stylist? I said of course and left it at that. Had my appointment with the other stylist and it was great. Went to pay and it was $58 which is nearly 3x the cost that it was with Natalie $15, the stylist in training. I could have asked the difference in price when they first changed my appointment but I really do think that I should have been informed since I requested a stylist in training and the difference in cost is so drastic. Just something for the staff to think about next time. Original Post: Ok. I have lived in Chicago and Los Angeles and Portland is by far the hardest place to find businesses that do THREADING and not WAX. I don't know why, I just really prefer getting my brows threaded over waxed but Portland is somehow very far behind on this particular trend? I googled it and most places just offer waxing so I was getting really frustrated in my search for a place that threaded. Enter, The Lash Lounge. I made the appointment online and was told that a stylist in training would be doing the threading and tinting. This made me a little nervous. I have heard horror stories from people who had services done by stylists in training so I called and spoke with Elise/Elyse/Alyse sp? at the front desk and she completely understood and assured me Natalie has done a superior job on other clients so I was feeling very confident. I had to change my appointment time which taken care of seamlessly and when I arrived, Elyse was very kind and Natalie was very thorough and made sure to let me look at the process before moving on to the next step. I am very used to in and out very quick eyebrow threading experiences so it was nice to have someone take such care instead. I am more than pleased with the results! "Stylist in training" is clearly just protocol because Natalie is a pro for sure. I love the shape of my brows and the color of the tint. If you do get a stylist in training like me, the services cost close to nothing so I suggest tipping big since you'd be saving money anyway! Bottom line, my experience with The Lash Lounge was really amazing. They really care about customer service and I am very happy to have a place to go back to from now on. Thanks, y'all!Service: Eyebrow threading
I may not speak English very well. But I love it here and will go back for a hybrid She has very detailed and beautiful eyelash extensions. She's soft and friendly, the place is clean, and all the staff are hospitable.
I was late to an appointment and called them to let them know. They gave me 10 minutes to get there or my appointment will be canceled, due to traffic I couldn’t get their within the 10 minutes. Which I called and let them know and they said I would be charged a cancellation fee since they can’t accommodate me after that time period, which I understood to mean a fraction of the service cost. But charging a cancellation fee of $99 is crazy to me.
