The Lobster Shanty

Very friendly staff! Diverse menu and phenomenal location. Of course I had to get the lobster martini which is conveniently priced at $15. The martini was excellent. So glad that I decided to visit this place.

Omg the Connecticut Lobster Roll and the Lobster Salad was Awesome. Thank You to the New Mr and Mrs Nowell for taking us there. When you are from the East Coast and miss the food this little place is Great. Only thing missing was Steamers...ahhh Clams and Beer

Service at my table ok, food so so, we were welcome by a gentleman that smoked a pack of cigarettes before greeting us, nasty odor. Dislike the idea of having to say that customer service was terrible for the couple next to me, they were there before us and two other tables were served that just checked in and server showed up after long 20+ mins (no lie) because I went to the bar and told my server to have someone take care of them. Meantime I tried to talked to them and found out they were visiting from another state.! Worst service ever they probably had, obviously I'm sure they weren't happy but tried to be polite while we were there or definitely they were the nicest people around.

Last call and the service was smooth. Found a table, listened to the live music and was able to catch up with friends. The Lobster Shanty has simply good food combined with fresh taps that make for an easy night out.

The food was passable, expensive, and presented as if you were at a low budget establishment. It tried to be quaint, but you bring me my cider in a can and you bring my friends' Guinness and Martini in glasses. I ask for a glass, waited about 5 minutes, went to the bar myself for a glass, and my server saw me and gave me a plastic cup. This is a deal breaker for me. With so many choices in town I would not choose to go again.
