My wife and I are very excited to soon call this place our home. Our experience with the leasing manager Joshua has been nothing but exceptional. From our first inquiry to signing the lease, Joshua has been extremely responsive, attentive, friendly and helpful. If we have any questions we immediately go to him and we can always count on a great, thorough answer. Coming from having unreliable management members at past apartments, this is truly a breathe of fresh air. Please keep hiring people like Joshua Auguste, Bozzuto! The investment will be reflected in your sales.

The Lockwood is a terrific building. It's location in Hill East, the amenities, and staff are hard to beat! Everyone in the building is friendly, but it is the concierge and maintenance teams that help make it feel like home. They are always professional and so kind! Darren on the maintenance team has been especially great to work with -- he has gone above and beyond for even the small requests we've had and is always a friendly face in the building!

I've been living here for 2-3 months and have loved the experience so far. The building is beautiful and the attention to detail in the common rooms are unmatched to any of the apartment building I toured before signing my lease. The front desk and leasing office are attentive and respond timely which has been a surprise compared to other places I have lived. Lastly, the building maintenance is beyond quick and always do great work.

I am not a resident at The Lockwood, but my experience there was very comforting because of your Concierge. Ms. Gibson has a lovely personality. She was very professional, kind and patient. From the time you walk in the front door, you are met with kindness. She is a keeper. All concierges should have that kind of personality, not the impatient ones that you encounter in the DMV area.

My tour was outstanding Joshua is the best at what he does very professional answered all question the lockwood was very beautiful the staff was welcoming and charming made me feel welcomed this is an awesome team from how I was treated with professionalism nice and kind with smiles on there faces I give them 10 stars

The Lockwood is an amazing place to live. If you want something more long term, you should be aware that they increase rent up to 20% or more when it comes time to renew. They increased our rent this amount, despite having identical apartments currently listed at the price we originally paid. If we had more time to make another plan, we would not have renewed. The concierge and other staff are incredible though.

The weekend concierge, Michael, was so welcoming and helpful. I appreciated a self-guided tour as the leasing agents were not available at a mututally-workable time. The complex is gorgeous and functional. However, the unit I viewed 1 bedroom had an awkward bedroom layout. I'll talk to the leasing but not sure the units themselves will work for me. Thanks again Michael.

My husband and I have been living at the Lockwood since September 2020 and so far we have enjoyed this unique building and our apartment as well as the great staff. Our apartment overlooks the courtyard, which is beautiful and quiet. The indoor common areas and the outdoor courtyard and rooftop are lovely and comfortable. The staff is fantastic, from the manager and leasing folks to the concierge, maintenance and cleaning teams, we have had positive experiences with each. Our daytime concierge, Sylvester, is wonderful. He is a genuinely pleasant and helpful person. When we walk in the door, he welcomes us home and we feel like he is a family member now! Of course, we appreciate all of the staff who we have interacted with including Obie, Michael and Ian of concierge, Steven of maintenance and Hermaine and Johanna of cleaning. This building is smaller than some of the very big apartment complexes in DC so it is quieter and the architecture is such that it really blends into the neighborhood. I highly recommend The Lockwood if you are looking for a community feeling with the convenience of the city. We moved here from a suburb of Boston and we were apprehensive about living in the city but we love it here. The Lockwood and its staff are a big reason that we settled into our new home so quickly.

You are very helpful, all of our maintenance issues are immediately addressed, your accommodations to us have been great. One of your staff members William I believe the concierge is just a breath of fresh air consistently! We just love him! Anyway thanks for all you have done!

I've lived in the Lockwood for about 6 months and could not be happier with the decision to move here. The size of the complex is awesome - it suits the family-friendly capital hill/eastern market neighborhood perfectly. The staff here is great and are quick to respond to inquiries, maintenance requests, etc. The concierge staff, specifically Sylvester and Obie, are friendly staples to the community. They are always super welcoming and attentive when I have requests, and see them interact with other community members just the same.. Overall - the Lockwood is a great, cozy place to live if you're looking for a unique, smaller apartment community.
