The Mex

The service was great, but the food sucked. The ambiance decor was what one would expect at a Mexican eatery. However, the food fell very short of expectations.

People so nice, but really, please believe me, this food is beyond horrible tasting. This is not authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex (we know both well). This place really needs to have professional chef help because the location is great & people nice - But the food is so bad - queso was curdled processed cheese of some sort & with maybe cream cheese. So aweful. The salsa was sweet and bitter. Cost over $40 (no alcohol drinks) & was so aweful we couldn’t eat and left it. The nice waitress/hostess said you didn’t eat anything - we just said “I guess it’s not what we’re used too”. Please get chef/recipe HELP, the building has potential...

A little expensive especially for the soda. But good quality food, an amazing atmosphere, and good service.
