Such a great store, and the best pharmacist. Always goes above and beyond, even brought the meds to us after hours in an emergency! This place is a good mile from our apt but I'll always go out of my way to support. Store itself is super clean and has a really fun selection too.

This is by far the best chemist in the area! The pharmacist is absolutely amazing I’m embarrassed to say that I don’t remember his name even though we’ve been loyal and frequent customers for years now, simply because emu partner and I keep referring to him as “the saint”.

Neighborhood stores like this, ones that actually care about customers as people and patients, just don’t exist anymore, and we are lucky to have Modern Chemists in our backyard. I recently visited late in the day, only to find my doctor hadn’t called in my prescription. Seeing I was in obvious discomfort and need of help, they worked to provide me an alternate, with true empathy and compassion. You’ll never find that at a Duane Reade.

Cozy little shop with good beauty and wellness products. I buy my shampoo here. As for the pharmacy, the staff is very pleasant and always offer to answer questions. Even one time when my doctor indicated I should take half a pill of one of my medications daily, the pharmacist cut them all in half for me! It shows they care and take pride in their work.

Modern Pharmacy is the BEST! They are such a wonderful, friendly place who will fill a prescription and will call the Dr for a refill if you ran out of refills. They'll also order if they don't have it. They're such an awesome neighbourhood place - one time they even dropped off a package at my neighbour's house when I couldn't get there in time to pick it up. They also have a surprisingly posh and delicious-smelling selection of creams/soaps etc. THEY RULE. Thank you, Modern Chemist!!

I switched to this pharmacy after i found out that my insurance would no longer cover my prescription from another pharmacy. I wish I had switched sooner! I absolutely love the staff here. They are so friendly, knowledgeable, and are willing to go the extra mile when there is a complication with a prescription. I would recommend The Modern Chemist to everyone I know!

It’s so nice to know that getting my prescription medication means such a positive experience is coming up. I think we sometimes forget the extremes of human kindness and empathy in New York. It’s so nice to come here and be reminded every time.
