The Muffins Cafe

Really nice coffee shop, hot chocolates was out of the world. They greeted us very well too.

I happened upon this place as I was dropping my daughter off to school and was quite taken aback by how quaint and simple the place is! It’s the antithesis to the hustle and bustle of the local Starbucks and the people are so nice and welcoming! The coffee is great as is the avocado toast and the toasted bagel with butter is always a big hit with my daughter!

Unfortunately its been twice now that I've been discriminated in this place. I have a service animal due to a medical condition and both times I was asked to leave even after informing the workers that is a service animal. The experience left me feeling absolutely awful and shaken. People with service dogs don't have to broadcast to everyone that they medically rely on the animal and then be asked to leave in front of other customers. FYI both times I was only waiting for food with zero intentions of staying inside not that this should even matter. Oh and the bagel was burnt all around the edges. Won't recommend and won't be back.

A little neighborhood coffee counter with a full of delightful hazelnut smell inside. The price is reasonable, especially given the fantastic location. You grab a couple of pastries and take out a coffee of your preference, and the central park is right down the street for you to enjoy all of those.

Muffins Cafe is a great local spot in the UWS! Very friendly staff that seem to enjoy what they do. The service is pretty quick so you aren't finding yourself waiting for too long for either food or coffees/drinks. I do wish they had some more variety on cream cheeses they only have butter or plain. Don't need anything too wild but maybe a rotating option? Love to stop by here in the mornings for a quick bite and nice cup of coffee. Great local neighborhood spot!

Excellent coffee shop serving fresh and flavor food. The grilled chicken sandwich is delicious. The staff is nice and welcoming.

Great cozy spot with amazing coffee & decaf options. Great, attentive service. Only gripe is the scarce amount of healthy options when it comes to food & dessert. Nothing whole grain, everything contains white flour, butter, and/ or dairy! . Stay away if you care about your health and the way you look and feel.
