Recently moved out, the building is under renovation over 6 months. Construction started before 7am on weekdays. Workers in and out without ID. Smell from the chemicals from the paint and glue. water outage. Missing packages. If you can tolerate all of that while paying $3000+ for 2B, then you don’t have to worry about $3000 early move out fee.
They’ll raise rent 30% to kick you out and remodel. Office hours are the worst, no one will answer even when you go there during the times they mention, because “they’re in a meeting”. Extremely noisy because they’re remodeling every apartment right now. New management is the single reason I’m moving out.
Having the fire alarms go off multiple times a day, on a weekly basis is a good way to get you to ignore them. If there's ever a real fire I'll probably end up dead.
I am the resident at 1205 Hancock street and can tell the new management is terrible. They won’t help for any issue even though it’s an emergency one and leasing office people are very rude. Think twice before you choose this apartment as your new home !!
We've lived at Munroe place since 2016 and recently had to move due to job relocation. The building is great and leasing office does a great job of following up on any issues. Generally takes less than 24hrs for maintenance to fix anything if there's an issue with the apartment. The higher floors offer a great view of the surrounding area. Space and pricing are much better than the other apartment complexes you find around the same area. Also, Cristina V., the property manager, is awesome and has been very helpful, especially through our transition out phase. You normally wouldn't expect leasing office to be helpful once you are no longer a tenant but Cristina has been very responsive even after we've moved to the other side of the country.
This is a great place to live. The unit here is very spacious, and the only utility to pay is electricity. The building is nicely managed, although there are only 3 people running this big building, Cristina, Nats and Don, things are so well managed and organized. They are really great people too. Cristina emphasizes of treating the residents here like family members and the residents do feel so. The whole building is always very clean, even the trash collection area is odor free. Packages are well sorted. Maintenance and repairs are really efficient. There is also a nice gym in the building. Downstairs are starbucks and the train station. Residents living here are mostly quite people or young families. This place is quite kids friendly too.
I could hear everything next door. always building something garage always a problem but you paid $125
I like living at Munroe Place because it's convenient apartment, in front of T station and buses, it's near of restaurants. It's a quiet and safe. The people work here are nice and efficient. I recommend to live in Munroe place anyone.
We lived at Munroe place for 5 years and cannot praise this place enough. We had to relocate from Boston/Quincy and therefore left this place. We looked for places in malden/medford/brookline and Boston before deciding to stay here. The residences are fairly new constructions with modern appliances and in house washer/dryer with underground garaged parking. Starbucks, T-Mobile, Indian restaurant and groceries and even a dental clinic is right below the apartments. Across the street from the residences there is Harvard Vanguard medical, Dunkin Donuts, USPS and Quincy library. The best part of this location is the Quincy Center T station which offers fast transit to downtown Boston. The management is very understanding, professional and extremely friendly. Cristina is one of the most friendliest and professional property manager we have come across and is ably assisted by Natsuko. Maintenance requests are usually dealt within 24 hours. They even offer FREE COFFEE and BREAKFAST two Wednesdays each month.
Please don’t choose here to be your lovely home. Since they changed to new management this August, the only aim is to make more money. Enough tricks to make you pay more. Eventually , I have to end up my lease with $400 more per month with any notice. NEVER COME HERE!
