This school spends so much money on marketing instead of their students. The only good thing going for them is the school’s location, everything else is below the standards. Most of their professors don’t care about their students and have big ego. The New School needs to put students first. That’s their bread and butter. Students are going to do organic marketing if they like u and they will give back years after graduation. Students are the investment. I regret going there, but I only stayed because I was already too deep in the program and was afraid from losing what I already spent of time, money, and effort. 🚽

I had to transfer out after freshman year because of how unbearable everything and everyone was. So many people had roommate problems including myself because the housing application puts you with your polar opposite instead of someone alike. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, is liberal. I used to be liberal until I spent a few months here – not to mention how everyone reacted to the election. These guys are literally sensitive children who will shriek at the sight of even a moderate republican (that poor woman). I ultimately made the decision to transfer because I said: "The quality of education here is not worth the quantity of its tuition" literally three months into my first year at this school. After I submitted my transfer app I found out that the school had raised its tuition 3%. And very recently, Daily Mail published an article that stated the New School had just released a list of "micro aggressions" to its students and staff – one example being not being able to stare nonprovokingly at a "non binary" or whatever student as it may cause serious damage. The school's socialists are trying to micromanage the behavior of students yet they are supposedly the main voices against fascism. Came here for NYC and because I didn't do well in HS to get into a better School. I did far better in my first year at college and got into a far better college. Good BYE.

The New School was always the talk of the town since the 70's - it's an inclusive institution for learning.

How can they call this school “The New School” if it was founded a century ago. Thouroughly disappointed, confused and hurt by the poor accuracy of the naming of this school.
