This is a solid place to get food. They have a 'trendy' menu with lots of vegetarian options and classics like open face turkey sandwiches. they have a pretty decent draft beer selection too, with options from all of the major local breweries. There is also a patio that is great for catching some afternoon rays while you have dinner.

A friend and I sat on the outdoor back deck and watched three different wait staff help all the other tables but no one even acknowledged us. We waited 25 minutes and then gave up and left. When I complained on our way out, the bartender said they were busier than they expected. And yet all the other tables around us were getting prompt service from the three staff working the small deck...?

The Old Post is on my list for best restaurants in Missoula. Their brunch on the weekends is truly a pleasure and their dinner food is equally good. This is an American food, hole-in-the-wall joint that's just really comfortable to eat at on a weekday or weekend. (Seriously, go here for brunch. It's worth it!)

Absolutely my favorite spot so far!!!! Food is excellent, service is friendly and prompt! Love the variety of local drafts available!

Grew up in Missoula, and this is my favorite bar. Great food. Best fish and chips I've ever had (make sure to ask for tartar). Oh yeah, their on tap beers always satisfy. Can't recommended them enough.
