The Paleta Bar

Very nice staff and a great family environment. The food is awesome. This is a fun local spot to take your friends or family and hang out for some paletas or aguas frescas! We had never been here before and the workers took the time to explain everything to us. There are tons of flavors and unlimited combinations. They do let you sample anything before you buy it. There is a genuine feel to the atmosphere.

They make wonderful paletas. There is a bar with ingredients and toppings so you can make it your own. We tried the chili watermelon and taro with white chocolate. The chili watermelon was tangy, sweet, spicy, fiery, even a little savory. Delicious. So was the taro, especially with the white chocolate drizzled on it perfectly. This is a definite thumbs up.

Quality has really gone down. Went today and the variety was limited. I still chose a paleta to go and then decided to sit outside and eat it. I took a few bites and it tasted old and gooey couldn’t finish it

Most amazing paleta ever! If I go a week with out having one I’ve gone too long. Lol. They have a variety of flavors and toppings to customize the perfect paleta for you.

My husband and I visited while passing through from out of town and we were blown away! We don’t have anything like this back home, and everything was so fresh and incredibly. They are generous with the toppings, and truly put effort into our order. We will be visiting again next time in Albuquerque!

Went to The Paleta Bar a few weeks ago and although I loved the texture of the ice cream and the hardened chocolate drizzled on top, the coffee paleta didn't taste that much like coffee. There were healthy options also in case you want to treat yourself without all the calories. The best part was the service that was very friendly!

Got strawberries con crema, and a watermelon water. Both were tasty but very pricey. I know this is a chain trying to bring a Mexican snack store to the masses but in ABQ where you can actually go to a Mexican shop to get these snacks at half the price. I don't see why anyone would choose this instead. There's numerous mom and pop fruterias and paleterias to go to instead. If there's a positive it's that the product is good and the help is nice. Just double the price of the local shops.

Came to this place for their good reviews and didn't disappoint. For $8 we had two ice cream with lots of topping. Definitely recommend this place especially if you are a tourist and want to try good quality ice creams that you won't find in California!

This place was fantastic! Enjoyed every bite of my dessert. Choose a paleta, a chocolate coating, and toppings! This place also has a punch card to earn a free paleta. Very inviting and friendly staff, would absolutely recommend. Very refreshing and different from the usual ice cream scene.

Friendly service, nice environment, and most importantly, YUM! It’s a wonderful place to have a bike ride to, or to stop by with friends. I look forward to going again and again : P.S they always seem to make them look like art-
