The Parlor Room

The Parlor Room has always been a favorite place to sit, have a beer(BYOB), and listen to some awesome music. The sound guy with the ponytail makes it sound super sweet in the small space and the food from The Pie Bar in Florence gives a nice local flavor. Also being located in the center of Northampton means that it is a great place to go after dinner without having to drive and find parking again. Also, the price is never too high which is a bonus, and often you can meet the artist.

I saw the Nields perform here at Christmas time, and they did an amazing show. It was a really nice small venue, and that had a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. We felt comfortable to just sit back and enjoy the performance, which was incredible. We bought their new Christmas album and hope to go to more Nields shows in the future.

Always a great show. It is small, around a hundred, and intament. They always have great performers. We go frequently and have never had a bad experience. BYOB as well.

Great performance space and lighting. Parlor Room extremely hospitable. Cameo performance - great idea, a few songs. Main guests Banda Criolla were fab, authentic and contemporary music. Great stories about living in Germany and performance street in old San Juan. Jose Gonzalez and sons Rene and Ahmed have spectacular talent.
