Unfortunately, the museum is closed on weekends. However, I enjoyed the architectural style of the building. It is also quite rare to see a police museum anywhere in the US these days. I'd love to visit it one day.
Very informational. Great displays. Helpful staff. Shows the origins of Miranda Rights. Car, motorcycle, helicopter, etc on display. Pay homage to fallen officers and K9 officers. 9-11 memorial. Don't miss this museum!
Small museum, but great people take care of it and also take care of you. I have learned some interesting history of the police department and the Miranda warnings. If you are in Phoenix you will not regret paying a visit. by the way, it's free!
Very well organized museum and super friendly staff
This little museum is chocked full of history. They have dress up and plenty of picture opportunities. In the space they have a motorcycle, cruiser, and helicopter, the first two you can climb in and on. The volunteers are helpful and knowedgable. AND it is free!
Great museum so much history on display. The memorial room for fallen officers was very touching and beautifully designed. The best part was the staff. From the moment we walked in the door I felt like I was chatting with my next door neighbors. What absolutely marvelous folks.
It has a tour guide who retired from the force started with Phoenix police in 1974. It is located inside the original police station downtown next door to the Phoenix City Jail picture captioned location and exhibits.
Great place. My kids loved it. Yes it's small but has hands on stuff for the kids and the officers are very nice. They shared police history with us and gave us a map for more fun things to do downtown.
