Lovely shop with beautiful hand painted needlepoint canvases with wool not silk fibers! This shop has the loveliest canvases of antebellum homes in Natchez and south Louisiana! You must go see!
First-time knitter and finally made it into this whimsical, little shop in the quarter! The ladies who work here are extremely knowledgeable, patient and kid. There are many different types of yarn to choose from their worsted choices have beautiful, rich colors. They do the ball-winding for free. There are needlepoints for sale and all kinds of trinkets and necessaries for knitters of every level. Will return!
Truly one of a kind store. Even if you don’t stitch, come in and check it out! I wish I lived closer and could see what is in stock more often. MANY canvases for needlepoint to chose from- all skill levels. Cross stitch kits available and LOTS of amazing yarn. I plan to go every visit to NOLA.
Helpful on the phone, helpful in person. I bought some great yarn! Nice packaging!
Staff is extremely helpful given the bustling location and customer volume, which I loved seeing so many customers in a craft shop. The Quarter Stitch has a wide variety of cross stitch patterns highlighting the local attractions Café Du Monde, alligators, Mardi Gras as well as floral patterns and others. My personal favorite was the locally dyed yarn in colors like Crawfish, Rhythm and Blues , and Grand Isle. Even completed the experience with stitch markers of skulls, fleur-de-lis, and a king cake baby ! The staff take care in wrapping the treasures in tissue paper, in a plastic bag and topping it off with ribbons. Love this little shop! If you are a crafter, it's certainly a place you cannot miss!
Pretty little yarn store. Many different yarns for knitting and crochet and some yarns are special order dye for the store. And many many cross stitch kits, holidays, NOLA and Louisiana themed.
Unique craft supplies and a wide selection of specialty threads, patterns, and fabric. Some materials do get a bit pricey but well worth it. Huge variety of gift and hobby ideas are available with one of a kind patterns available.
Truly the kindest yarn shop I’ve ever visited. And the prettiest!
Nice friendly and helpful ladies work here highly recommend this place for all of your yarn needs
One of the bigger shops in the quarter and beautifully stocked with all variety of yarns, notions, and cross-stitching. The staff is lovely and knowledgeable and there is plenty to choose from for souvenirs, even if space is a concern. I got some lovely local yarn, a handmade stitch marker, and a weight measure and it was all reasonably priced and extremely high quality. It is truly an oasis in the quarter and a must-visit for any knitter or stitcher.
