The Range At 355

The best range I’ve been to! It is clean, well ventilated and has stare of the art equipment. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. I am always greeted with a smile and usually get into some great conversations with the workers after shooting. Purchased an annual membership after so many pleasant experiences.

I found the staff here to be excellent over several visits and also during phone calls. Don't worry about having to wait a few minutes to be helped - it's worth it. You'll get undivided attention when they get to you with no rushing or pressure for as long as you take. Great experience here with a sale but did not use the range yet.

Great shop, with phenomenal customer service! We were helped by Jerry, a former police officer. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Would recommend this shop highly!!!

I don't know where to start. It seems as I read some of the reviews, that I had a similar situation. First off, even on good days, you are NEVER greeted at the door. I walked all the way back to the back counter on more than one occasion and not one person said "hello" or "how can I help you?". The only thing I got was "you shooting?". Talking to friends and coworkers, this sounds like it is not new for them. This place can be very cliquey, and if you are an outsider, you pretty much have to grab someone to get help. Recently, one of the Range Officers was extremely rude, and talked down to not only myself but to seemingly everyone in the range we were at. We saw him walk down the line and LITERALLY make a comment to everyone there about what they were doing wrong(in his eyes) and in a rude tone. There is no doubt that this is a "power move" as I have been here several times and had a good experience in his absence. However, EVERY time that this particular employee is working, we have had a terrible experience. His demeanor is one that puts a bad name on the sport of shooting and could turn new people away from the sport completely. New shooters come in already nervous, and I assure you his attitude would turn people away. This guy yelled not only at me but also my friend. Little did he know that my friend was an Expert level shooter in the Marines, with extensive active combat experience overseas. He talked to him like he was an idiot. There is a huge difference between safety and professionalism and belittling people to feel big about yourself. Spending the kind of money that shooting can cost, there's no way I will return here, and I urge anyone to take their money to places like Shoot Point Blank in Naperville, where you will be treated WAY better and like a customer, not a child. I hope this man is fired, then I MIGHT return, because it truly is a nice range. If this keeps up however, I don't foresee the future being bright for them. No one wants to go to a place to pay upwards of $50 to be bullied by a guy who thinks he is the only one who has ever shot a gun and knows how to safely operate.

What a great range. Priced are excellent, clean, safe and well lit. You have to give them a try, plus they offer a nice LEO discount.
