Although the hotel is definitely outdated in regards to its décor and style, the staff was friendly and warm and the rooms were clean and very spacious. Plus the location is amazing. We will definitely be staying there again the next time we visit Manhattan.
A good hotel nicely positioned for a base to explore NYC on foot, 5th Ave, Central Park, Times Square etc. Will return sometime.
My family stayed the night after staying at a swank hotel overlooking Times Sqaure. Its definately dated but we did see Aunt Edna in the lobby so that was worth the stay in of itself.
It is an affordable hotel. Rooms are huge and comfortable. The hotel is pretty old and furniture shows its age but it’s clean and service is very good. Locations could not be better if you wish to stay near Central Park and midtown.
Quaint hotel just a half block down from Carnegie Hall and two blocks from Central Park. The room was very clean and had both a refrigerator and microwave. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Faded splendour is the best description. I had a suite here for a few days while on business and the decor and furnishings are all badly in need of replacement. Its location is good but that is all you can really say
My daughter came for a surprise visit . The rates were unbelievable not expensive at all. The rooms were big , meals were good also. The people that work there were very nice n polite. She n her husband were happy so that made me happy. It's a nice cozy place.
